  1. Stock LCAs to Mopar Extended LCAs - Caster Change

I neglected to mention that I had death wobble. Like REAL death wobble. I have had my YJ for 25 years and know shimmy’s but never legit about to die DW like my Gladiator had. Anyway, the dealer put on the all steel box and mounting bolts and aligned it. Then the drag link was bad at the pitman...
  2. Stock LCAs to Mopar Extended LCAs - Caster Change

Mine is just a DD to take my kids to school and tow my travel trailer. Maybe light trail riding. I have a ā€˜93 YJ I use for wheelin’. It’s cheaper and takes less time to replace. That’s my reasoning.
  3. Stock LCAs to Mopar Extended LCAs - Caster Change

I am about to pull the trigger on this. I think it will be worthwhile given the relatively low cost of the arms. I recently replaced my shocks and my front tires have the every other lug wear pattern. Probably from worn shocks and alignment issues. My wife complains it’s not ā€œtightā€ in the...
  4. Level or lift - wear and tear on stock components

I second the idea of a Teraflex leveling kit. I put Rubicon springs and shocks on my Sport and put the 1ā€ spacer on the front. Completely satisfied since all I do is take my kiddos around and tow a small travel trailer. For serious off-roading I take my 1993 YJ.
  5. Just purchased my first camper and have questions.

I don’t think I’ll give you any thing new in terms of information but I have a small Jayco Featherlite Ultra. It’s about 3,100 lbs and got it used. It came with that small friction sway bar and I prefer having it versus not. I have the Redarc brake controller and some cheapie mirror extensions...
  6. JT v. Taco: Which is objectively built better? 2021 Gladiator vs 2021 Tacoma comparison review by owner

I traded my 2017 Taco for my 2020 Gladiator and I’ve been happy ever since. The Taco was kind of a dog on the road and constantly wanted to be in higher gears to the point that if I wanted to have it get up and go it would shoot to 3500 rpm. I just never felt there was anything between 1500-3500...
  7. First Tow with the Mojave - Report

Whoa! Here is how my RV towing adventure looked this past weekend.
  8. First Tow with the Mojave - Report

    Joe’s Gladiator is pretty sweet
  9. First Tow with the Mojave - Report

Nice report. I towed my ā€˜93 YJ from Phoenix to Moab back in September. It was an adventure no doubt.
  10. Some hesitation and weird shifting

My 2020 has had the ā€œstickingā€ issue in the transmission. I’m actually on a road trip in Northern California (drove from Phoenix) and really noticed it. When I’m descending a hills it’s holding the gear and same going up. It will shift at some point but compared to when I bought it (Aug 2019) it...
  11. Stumble at 1,500 rpm?

Thanks for clarifying. Surge it is.
  12. Stumble at 1,500 rpm?

I’m in the same boat. It’s not that bad, just starting noticing it and I have had my JT for 2 years.
  13. Stumble at 1,500 rpm?

I read through the other thread and it sounded like it was more abrupt at Lower gears while it was shifting. What im experiencing is at high gears (7-8) and consistent 1,500 rpm at a constant speed, not shifting. its not a major issue so far, I was just concerned if it was the beginning of...
  14. Stumble at 1,500 rpm?

Thanks! I should have done a search up front.
  15. Stumble at 1,500 rpm?

I don’t know if this is the best place for my question but it seems like an engine issue. In the past month or so I’ve noticed when I’m cruising down the road and my rpm sitting at 1,500ish, my 3.6L feels like it’s ā€œstumblingā€. It’s very subtle and it’s not to the point where I can tell the...
  16. Start stop not working

I had this issue last fall and didn’t even think about it until last December. I took it to the dealer and both batteries were bad. But I live in Phoenix where batteries die every couple years.
