The JTRD handles great towing. I haven’t done any Canadian mods yet, I do have the GDE tune and have geared to 4.88. I now have 15,000 miles on the tires they’re wearing good with 14/32 left.

We were early adopters with the 2021 4xe wranglers when it first came out and now the 4xe grand Cherokee. Have loved both. The transmission improvements look promising.

I’m glad someone with your level of suspension knowledge is on this. I’ve been looking at the timber grove replacement bags but was concerned how to even figure out the necessary shock. I’m definitely interested and following this and any discussion about this I can find.

I still like mine. 8,000 miles on 40x13.50R17LTs, 2,400 of those miles towing our 5,500 lb Nobo 19.3 trailer. The tires are still round, very quiet and handle heavy rain, ice and snow very well. Seem to be wearing well , about 3/32 so far.

Try to find a 4th tire locally, if you find one get the 4 mounted, ask for a refund for the one they didn’t send. Learn, Move on and enjoy your new tires. Life’s to short.

Most of the post I’ve seen about tunes and spare cloned ECUs have sounded like they also sent in the newly cloned one, which is what I was planning to do until I talked to Keith @ GDE. I haven’t read of anyone having difficulties from doing that. I’m guessing you’re not either.

They mentioned it had to something do with ensuring it had completed all of the emissions checks among other things. I should have inquired into the other things. I don’t have emissions inspections where I live so it probably wouldn’t have made a difference for me but I did what he recommended...

Gears were delivered Friday afternoon, I installed them Saturday. Gotta love those Spicer Genuine gear sets, first pattern using original shims front and rear.
