In the Texas Hill Country the wave hit ratio is 40% to 60%. I was surprised as I had heard a lot about the jeep wave and coming from riding motorcycles I was expecting that level...then it hit me so to speak.
I realized that I was missing waves to other jeeps. I thought what is wrong with...
I just broke 12k miles and have no major or minor annoyance other then my desire for more foot room :)....but nowhere else can I take the top off my truck!
I had something similar happen. All was well until my complimentary Jeep oil and tire rotation. Long story short after my sensors not working, working, one working then one not, the jeep master Tech told me they had to turn up the "sending unit" to high.
He said the stock tires that came on...
I used a metal washer and a rubber wager. No movement or vibration. As the others said the field of view isn’t great but I plan to add a blind spot mirror to enhance my view. In the end I just want it for lan changes and parking so should be fine plus easy off and on at a solid price.
I thought that at first but find I don't get wave backs from men or women...maybe it is me :). I just stopped riding hence the new toy and yes Motorcycle riders are more committed and probably easier to see.
In the end I will keep waving!!!
Best I could do in the Austin, Texas area was paying MSRP for a Sport S with free Rubicon 33's. I felt like I won :)...first time in over 80 buys (yes I have a problem) that i ever paid sticker. But I do love my Gladiator and would do it again!
I am in Austin but have family in Houston. No plans to cross thru right now. And yes shipping big can be painful.
You have anything else you are looking to sale that might warrant a trip down? Let me know. Also let me know what you replaced the front with...it is good to talk with another...
