The binding comes from uneven arcs that was tire takes when you turn. The diffs have the ability to adapt. The transfer case doesnāt (full time and AWD excepted here). Backing up in an S shape while gently pushing the shift lever to 2WD will allow the wheels to turn through several different...
Yep. Great way to pop a u-joint or worse. But usually just freaks you out, binds everything up tight, makes it nearly impossible to push the transfer lever back to 2WD, and generally makes you feel stupid. Happens to us all at one time or another. Easy fix , though. Reverse in a S shape while...
I never take the SunRider off! Even in our rare 20-something mornings in Atlanta, it is just as warm and no louder than the Freedom Panels I have stashed in the attic.
Guys. ScootJeep is my son and I can tell you that he ended up trading his JT with the Soft Topper. So itās no longer available. He needed a heavier rig to pull an RV.
I ran that model tire on the Super Duty I used to have. It is exactly what I plan to install if my Wild Peaks ever wear out. I donāt need the all terrain for my driving.
Interesting topic. I have a 2020 with the 6MT. Iāve been very happy with the performance, though concerned about the clutch recall (that isnāt really a recall since there is no fix). Iām putting my grandson through the Mopar program at the local community technical college. When he gets to the...
I had the Bak Flip folding aluminum cover on my Chevy and was so happy with it that I immediately put one on the Gladiator. Never had water issues! I only removed it when I bought a RLD cap. I highly recommend it!
2 years in and Iām happy with the bumper. The finish has help up well on mine (GA-no salt). I tossed these plates and the tow hooks, too. Kept the hooks from my Sport S bumper.
My NFabs are going strong after 4 years (Atlanta area- no snow or salt in that time). If they ever do break down, Iāll wire wheel the hell out of them and spray with aerosol bed liner. Same for my eBay Rubi-steel front bumper.
Yep. Loved that M715 truck. For those not familiar with it, it was the original Jeep convertible pickup š¤£
here is a stock internet photo. Also one of the M151A1 that I referenced. The āMuttā as the 151 series was referred to, seemed in every way to be the āanti-Jeepā with its unibody...
My first was a ā55 Willys M38A1 mil-surp back in high school. I attended a private prep-assed school and, of course, nobody got it (or got me, for that matter). It wasnāt a āvette or an MGB soā¦..weird. Iāve had a couple dozen over the years. Some that bought to fix up and flip, some I drove for...
