I’ve had both. Unfortunately the gasser met an untimely demise in a fire but I got a couple thousand miles on it before replacing it with the diesel. I couldn’t be happier with the diesel. Some benefits include 20mpg on 37’s vs 10mpg on 35’s, more power at lower revs, no extra oil or belts, no...
So far the best $ I’ve spent was lift along with wheels, tires and spacers (~5k) The worst was tube doors instead of quality mirrors and a stubby antenna. My next 5k went into bumpers, winch and fenders. I don’t need to spend engine $ because I’m happy with the diesel.
No need for an attorney. Read your state lemon law and follow the instructions writing the letter. Sometimes you can find manufacturer specific instructions. My state is 3 times or 30 days in your first year maybe. There's no negotiation or dispute and you'll get a check for nearly full price.
My stock diesel handles the 37's better than my (previous) supercharged gas handled 35's. No regrets. I don't see any need for a gear change so far (Mopar lift with level kit.)
I have the same experience. Over 2.5k punch provides a 7PSI boost shot unleashing the beast. Great to have on tap when you need it. I'll get a pic of my gauge mounted windshield top left to the grab handle.
Just got the 35's on and put it in for the 500 mile oil change/checkup. Mileage was a bit down but other than a little bounce the ride was superb. I'm sure I will mess with the tire pressures when I get it back.
Almost 500 exhilarating miles! Jeep ownership has been terrific and the pro charger has been everything I wanted. Adding 35’s in a couple of days. Looking at bumpers... so many options!
