Got it - makes sense. Sounds like something I can do myself with a grinder and little time. The pictures you shared are using a Curt receiver, is that right?

I think I answered my question by looking at the pictures a second time. It looks like you made the diagonal cut on the mounting bracket, is that right? Will the loss of the bolt impact the weight ratings on the hitch reciever? I wanted to be able to use for a small snow plow in the winter.

Did you have to do any modifications outside of cutting an opening in the skid plate to install the hitch receiver? I was told that the bolts for the Curt hitch receiver mount to the same pre threaded hole as the skid plate. Im trying to decide if I can installed myself or should bring it...

Do you know if the Draw-Tite or the Curt will work with a Rubicon? From what I can tell from their websites the Curt may not. I couldn’t tell from the draw-tite website. I imagine in either case I’d have to ditch the rock guard unless it uses separate bolts/holes and I could cut out an opening...

Another vote here for a tan top. I would buy immediately even if same configuration as OEM. That said I also agree would be ideal if it folded down onto bed instead of man bun look. In my opinion no need for the closed back “window” when you have top down.

Does anyone know if the BakFlip bed rack will work with the Mopar tri-fold cover? I called and asked but they didn’t want to discuss use with other tonneau covers. Really want to find a rack that works with a good cover.

Thinking about using plasti-dip to change the color of the tow hooks on the bumpers. Does anyone know if I need to remove the rubicon bumper to take them off?
