Gobi Wan ā¦ yep, still around and still staying tempted, while Iām hoping a local dealer will end up here ā- itās never a given.
while the max tow itself isnāt needed, the better axels do sound nice. Some seem to think the max tow is part of the problems with leaking seals but thatās just what...
Thanks for the comments so far. If we ordered, the build might be something like this. The good thing is that weād arrange to pick it up and drive it for a month stateside before dropping it off for shipping...
Thanks for the comments so far. The āgo-toā trucks here are the Toyota Hilux and the Mitsubishi L200, there are others but these are the most popular.
Our L200 is a 2006, we undercoat it about every 2yrs (we are the second owner) and it runs well but a new toy, and second car, would be nice...
So, Iām going to post this question on multiple sites to get an many thoughts and opinions as possible. Iām interested in hearing from current and even past owners. Some here have seen my questions here before. Since we will be stateside for a month summer of ā22, Iād have time to get it and...
Still deciding to push the button on a special order JT which Iād ship into the Southern Caribbean and use on island as a daily Dive Truck, it would be the only JT on island for now (plenty of Wranglers). Iām now thinking about a base Sport with just a few options ... but manual doors/windows...
SMLOBX: the plan would be to special order exactly what I want into South Florida, fly up and take delivery, then spend 2-3 weeks visiting friends and āvacationingā in the states. If anything is not right, take it into whatever dealer I need to get it fixed before shipping it out of Miami...
OK: if and when we push the button on a JT, we would ship it into the Southern Caribbean with no local dealers and clearly no warrantee. There are a fair number of Wranglers and local shops that service them on island.
So, from current JT owners and experienced Jeep owners, whoād take the risk...
OK .. so I have watched the JT and eventually may push the button on a very expensive ātoyā. We live in the Southern Caribbean and while we have plenty of Wranglers and service available, there are no Gladiators at the time.
I am so tempted to bring one down, either a Sport S or an Overland...
Thanks for the reply. I think, for now, the key measurement that I am looking for in your first one.
The bed I know to be 60ā.
BTW - this point here is for import onto our Caribbean island and hoping to only pay 8% duty vs 25%.
Looking for these specific exact measurements that I donāt see here. Specifically the measurements in the four door example given here. I am not sure if they vary by JT trim model or not. Any help would be great. Thanks,B
