  1. BillieBars Bed Bars - Are they right for your Gladiator?

Have you had a chance to take any pictures yet and confirm the actual clearance dimensions of the 8"?
  2. BillieBars Bed Bars - Are they right for your Gladiator?

What is the width (clearance) between the 8" brackets, mounted to Gladiator Trail rails? I read somewhere where that there is a welded gusset on the 8" brackets. Does this then subtract from the clearance width for the Mopar soft rollup Tonneau cover? I like the idea of the extra height for...
  3. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Let us know how it performs as a “skid plate”. Looks great and love how it installs.
  4. Tool box?

i picked up a three(3) lock Master Lock set at Home Depot, keyed alike. they worked quite good, but work much better getting thru the hasp and around the cable that secures the box to the bed D rings, after I removed the upper plastic piece.

Can you expand on what you did and how you used unistrut to mount your lights? I like the idea of saving money.
  7. Purpose of sway bar disconnect?

Thanks for the great information. Are there any risks associated with disconnecting the sway bar, especially for a stock, (no lift) Sport S, Max tow? also, have looked at multiple disconnects and all I have seen so far require you to “cut” off a bracket on the passenger side mount. Not a...

How is the Handy Flag pole holding up? does it survive low hanging tree limbs? It’s a fantastic idea And I’m thinking of getting one.
  9. Any cons to Sway Bar disconnects?

just looked closely at the Synergy notes and cutting is required too For stock height vehicles, the sway bar links must be installed in the stock location on the axle and the passenger side sway bar tab needs to be removed. No front bump stop spacing is required.
  10. Any cons to Sway Bar disconnects?

interesting, I’ve been researching disconnects too tonight, have similar question. I too noticed that the JKS kits for JT/JL require cutting off a tab. The JK versions did not have any cutting of stock metal. I looked at one other kit from Rubicon and requires cutting too. I’ll look at the...
  11. So what did you name your Gladiator?

Finally decided on a name for my Gladiator Sport S, Max-Tow. Pongo Pongo is the patriarch of 101 Dalmatians, much like I’m the patriarch of a Jeep family. Pongo is laid-back, playful, and a tad goofy. He was also shown to be witty, intelligent, tactical, resourceful and stealthy. Aside...
  12. New to towing, never towed in my life. Need help

Here is an excellent resource for everything towing. It will help you understand the terminology and each element that others reference in their comments to help you evaluate all factors of safe weight and safe towing. Trailer weight is ONLY ONE factor to consider...
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

@TRI-JAB here is a video a guy posted on YouTube that is very similar to what we are trying to do. It’s 33 minutes long so you can fast forward through the platform build till he gets to his cable system. This is what I was thinking, cable to all four corners to a central point, but was...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Nuts, was hoping you had a solution I wasn’t aware of. I’ve done something similar with rope & pulleys and two side loops to the link in your post, but it’s a bit unstable and keeping both sides in sync was challenging both up and down. I have chains on each corner that safely /...
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I’m doing something similar (size & casters). How are you lowering it? My experience with Ratchet Straps is when you release them they GO And it would be hard to keep all four corners level. Thanks for your guidance.
