So how exactly does Tesla get a free pass on "testing" non-street legal vehicles on public roads? Are the cops too chicken to impound it? How come I don't get a free pass to drive around on the street in my own creations?
There is no solution on the horizon for this problem. You can triple the battery size to regain the original range... but then the recharge time is 3x as long
You can love or hate the design, that doesn't matter. But it's disgusting that he'd come forward with such bald face lies. He's more than capable of producing a vehicle with all those promised specs. But to stand there and try to tell people that if they "lend" him some money, they will be able...
Alex Leanse is just a bad writer period. I can't think of a good article he's written. I'm naturally biased towards the Jeep but the comparison was ridiculous from every angle. He clearly detests pickups in general. There was no basis or application for anything. Is the intended use as a work...
I want to know where he found 5 lug Dana 60 axles. Or how he plans to keep 1000 hp cool. He's basically selling the wish-list of a 12-year old with no clue how to deliver what he's promised. All the photoshop is laughable at best
I can get near 18 with mixed city and 55 mph highway use. Mileage drops like a rock once you hit the open road. About 15 mpg at 70 and more like 12-13 at 80.
It would definitely be more useful to have five gears between 1st and OD. Current setup is more like a 3 speed with granny low considering 5th and 6th are pretty useless except on flat ground
