Mine were different colors than the 7. L I ke you say the connectors will fit only 1 way. When I first hooked mine up I forget to hook up one wire. When I unplugged it from the 7 I laid it off tk the side and didn't realize it until I was reinstalling the radio.

One of the plugs is in a different location on the 8.4 than the 7. The GPS and sirus radio are on the same antenna.

I installed one in sport model and had no problems.

Some states in order to carry the gun has to be in sight. If you have a concealed carry permit it does not have to be in sight. If I ever have to use my gun I sure as he'll don't want to take the time to have to unlock it from somewhere.
