I'm sure there's not too many places that have 7% grades and as little air as we do up at 10,000 feet. I was pretty impressed that was the only place I had holding speed.
My previous jeep was an 08 2dr Rubicon and it couldn't hold speed there either. No trailer, just 35's.
The Curt Echo seemed great on the highway, but as soon as I got into town it seemed a little harsh. I turned the gain down a bit in town and in stop and go traffic. That's probably just preference though, it seemed to work great otherwise!
Hey all,
I read dozens and dozens of posts on here about towing trying to figure out what I should do. So, I thought I'd throw one in as well for the next person.
Anyhow, I've got a 2020 Rubicon with a 2.5 spacer lift and some 37's on stock gears. I wanted to tow my 73 CJ out to Moab from...
A couple weeks ago I got a chance to take the gladiator out with a few friends. One of the guys with us made a video I thought some of you might enjoy!
I suppose that is possible, but I'm not too concerned. I live in CO, and most of my wheeling is done above 8,000ft. It's never that hot on a trail. I got the 450 with a 100% duty cycle, and it has a thermal overload in case I'm wrong!
I've had my gladiator about a year now, and the decked boxes for about 10 months. I love them 90% of the time. On big family trips, I am sure it would be easier if I had use of the whole bed. However, for just about everything else, I love the convince and security of them. As many have...
Shipping is pretty expensive. I looked it for AZ not to long ago, it was $350. I can get a quote if you're interested in splitting the cost of the shipping.
Rack showed up today, and it's all installed!! The installation was pretty easy and straightforward. I was missing 2 bolts, so the accessory panels are only held in by 3 bolts and not 2. Not sure if that was a mistake in packing, or my 10yr old that was helping dropped more pieces than I heard...
Ha, my bad!! I've got 2 kids at home and I had convinced them that this weekend they were going to get to play with 'life sized legos' and help me put it together. I think they are more bummed that it was only 1 piece of the rack than I was!!
I spoke too soon. I ordered a full rack and the headache rack to go with it. The only thing I got was the headache rack! I'll be waiting along with everyone else.
I ordered a full rack for mine on Sunday, and I already got an email saying it was shipping!! I had figured I was going to have to wait a month or so. Thanks for the quick work!!
I have a factory roll up cover for sale. I think brand new they are around 1k. I'm looking for $500 OBO. I'm in the Denver area, it's available for pick-up, or you pay shipping! It was on the Jeep for less than 1k miles.
Hey all! I just picked up my gladiator a couple weeks ago. I'm looking at the best cover to put on the back. It came with the Mopar soft cover which I hate (so if anybody wants one cheap just let me know)! Anyhow, I want one that I can lock stuff in the bed with, but that I can also store stuff...
