  1. Automatic Transmission fluid change interval s on 2021 JT

My reverse clunk became a total transmission replacement out of warranty at 33K miles. Be careful!
  2. where are you powering the winch?

Just remote mount the control box next to the battery. You have to wire the battery to the winch anyway, so just spent a little extra time with some extra wire. No electricity going to the winch unless your using it. Problem solved.
  3. What did you HAUL in your JT today?

My tops on a pull out bed I built
  4. My take on Oracle Flush Mount Tail lights after my install

Wow. I had no idea there were issues and thought I would try them out. Installed them yesterday. No modification and easy like the instructions say.
  5. Armorlite regrets?

It seems like it would take them a long time to dry out if water gets in the insulation layer. Anyone have any experience with this?
  6. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

This is the warn medium bar here
  7. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

I’ve been surprised how much water still gets in between a bolt and a nut. You might consider putting some weep holes in the bottom of you bar to allow the water to get out unless you’ve siliconed the rivnut and light bolt or something.
  8. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

    Looks good!
  9. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

Yep! You can see the bar on the screen but you can still spot your front tires with the camera, so not much interference.
  10. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

I relocated the controller right next to the battery. There is a nice little space that’s perfect for it. I actually made the winch plate cover and I can still reach the clutch under the plate. If I plan on using it a lot I can always pop the cover off.
  11. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

This is the image with the medium bull bar. So I would say it doesn’t “block” the camera but you can see it on the image.
  12. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

Not that hard after a few videos and practice! I bought a MIG/flux core welder off CL and went to town on a broken mower deck.
  13. Cadillac has a go at my rock slider

Right. I think the good part is he likely got his car under it, based on his damage, and picked the bed up with his car and dolly’d it over into the other car. There is no rubber on the ground FWIW.
  14. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

Sorry no link bc I fabricated it. â˜č Someone noticed it before and said they’d buy one if I built it. The problem is I wouldn’t know how different the heights would be for different winches and winch mounting kits. I also mounted the control box under the hood so that would be required for...
  15. Bull Bar for factory steel bumper

It doesn’t protrude past the bumper, so no worries there. As far as the camera, I still see what I need to but it does take up some of the image vs no bar. I wouldn’t say it “blocks” it though.
  16. Cadillac has a go at my rock slider

For sure it’s going to get a close inspection. I agree just bc it looks ok doesn’t make it so. I can’t believe he didn’t bag my rim and tire.
  17. Cadillac has a go at my rock slider

LMFAO just now. Exactly right, but hurts me deep inside in a different way thinking people think I park like that. I saved footage from my dash cam just in case parking comes into question.
  18. Cadillac has a go at my rock slider

VA Hospital garage with multiple cameras. I can’t wait to see it too but have to wait for them to send me official report. Based on how his front looked he definitely climbed under the rock rail and carried the truck over. If I would have just tried to back up I would have taken her entire front...
  19. Cadillac has a go at my rock slider

LOL. My wife said the same thing - why’d you park like that! Sadly this is part of the reason for getting steel bumpers and rock rails. When I saw the Cadillac, I was like damn there is 100% going to be body damage to my truck. Not so. Even saved the fender on the driver side kissing the SUV.
