I came very close to doing the Islander theme on my Mojave, but I did this instead. Sometimes I really think about switching to the islander graphics. I, too, removed my Mojave stickers soon after I bought it.
If Jeep only made this in a loaded Special Edition, I would buy one. If they only made it in a stripped Base model, I would buy one. Of course I know they aren't going to make it, but IF they do, YES I will.
I first went with adjustable control arms - ride was down right bad. I installed AEV geo brackets - I got my Mojave back! And that is a very short version of that story.
If you install it yourself, ensure you properly torque every bolt. If you pay someone to do it, either watch them put a...
Chorky, I copied the info below from the link provided above. That is 133 Newton Meters, not foot pounds. It's kinda screwy how these torque values are written all in a row. In foot pounds, the torque value is 99.

Yeah, I suppose "hate" is a little too extreme. Like you said, they are overdone. I've had factory black wheels on a couple of vehicles and they were okay, but I just never left the "wheels are shiny" camp that I grew up in.
As I recall, the difference in offset is about 7mm, so not very much...
Thanks, I have always loved the Scrambler and really like the factory throwback stripe option for the Gladiator (not available on Mojave), but decided to go with the "other" Scrambler pattern. Since it is a Mojave, I based my selection of stripe colors on the existing orange and I like how it...
Oh, okay. I considered doing the same thing, but knew that I would never be steady handed enough. Getting those letters off was a lot of work with fishing line and Goo Gone. Probably should have used something stronger like 3M Adhesive Remover.
And my stripe package definitely has some flaws...
Great color combination with the black! I'm on the fence about putting my Jeep emblems back overtop of the vinyl stripes. Yours looks factory, so really makes me want to do it. What adhesive did you use and any issues?
Yes, Underground Graphics has two "Scrambler" stripe packages - one reflecting the '81-'82 Scrambler design, and the one I chose that is based on the Scrambler '83-'84 design. Same as the CJ-7 Renegade those years.
For a small fee to cover shipping, UG sent me color samples and I chose to make...
Cool ride, Greg. And glad to know your vacation was a good time. UPS is supposed to deliver my custom graphics package tomorrow. It will definitely be going on the truck this weekend and photos will be taken!
Don't have a pic of my first ('49 Willys [actually not 100% sure of the year model]), or my '99 Grand Cherokee or '04 Liberty (just never thought about taking photos, I guess), but below is my menagerie over the years... '98 TJ Sport (new), then a '92 YJ, then a '91 YJ Islander, then a '97 TJ...
These are great pics!
I've had mine for a couple of weeks and I really like it. I'm running two pairs of KC Daylighters. The wiring has been a bit more tedious than I remember from the last time I wired a sport bar about 30 years ago. There are no holes in the Rugged Ridge Sport Rack. I drilled...
Right there with you... I was very close to getting a Rubicon with the tan leather, but opted for the Mojave so no tan option. I bought Hydro but my second color choice for 2021 was Sarge. Either would look awesome with a tan/brown interior. I got the gray in my Mojave and really like it, but...
I put Katzkin upholstery in my TJ Sahara a few years ago. It was awesome and not too bad of a DIY. I was able to get several samples from them so I could choose what most closely matched the dash.
