Just seeing this. On mine, the top of the rack is now about 75" off the ground, which would mean that you should be okay unless you're taller than 6" 3" and refuse to bend. I'm 6' 1" and the likely addition of a tent or awning was part of my reasoning when I chose the 18" (20.5') version over...
Thanks. The RotopaX stuff certainly looks good, but I prefer not to have to deal with the venting requirements and just don’t trust them as much as the metal cans.

Likely, but only if it was somehow mounted higher than I have mine. I did consider one each front and back. Went with two up front because I think that will be more useful.
Look, quality, clearance, and protection are outstanding with the MCs, in my opinion. Coverage for dirt is okay enough for me, but certainly not as good as OEM.
Measuring for bump-stop adjustment on MetalCloak's CTI trailer. Going to go with two per corner (removing two each). Couldn't get that close to fully flexed due to the trailer's length (or lack of length), as we had to stop when the front right tire started moving too far forward of the lift.
Haven’t purchased, yet. But, I have been thinking about the SkyLux Bantam from Toro Off-road (I think). It’s a hard-shell flip-out tent that would fit over the JT bed without overhang while opening up to be the size of a soft tent. Also seems from site info and some reviews I managed to find...
I really want an Opus 4 or the 15, if I find a way to justify the extra bucks. If hard sided and not the Opus 15, I'd have to go with the Black Series C12 or get a deal on the H12, at least from what I've seen. If I could figure out a way to haul 2 motorcycles, or even one, on the Opus 4, I'd go...
Hit by a rock and cracked from the top center to about four inches below the rear view mirror this past Thursday, while on the highway driving from Reno to Vegas. Replaced Friday with an OEM windshield. Replacement after just four months is not so encouraging. Glad I have full coverage for...
Certainly not on the road, much. Opportunities to do so around here are few. But, once on the highway in the snow and twice (not as fast, of course) while snow wheeling. No noise or issues at all.
I am running the complete Gamechanger with the MC drag link, steering stabilizer, tie rod and 1310 front drive shaft. Could not be happier; no vibration or weird noises at all.
Went over to MetalCloak and CloakWorks this morning. Scott and his team installed my rear inner fenders, full Undercloak skid plate system (including skid for the rear differential), and Overline Rocker Rails—all, I believe, the first production units installed on a JT. Came out great. Will add...
