6.4 in a gladiator!
only thing keeping me from one is the price tagā¦which will be heavy I am sure. Fun to see Raptor Ranger vs hemi gladiator!
love this news
Itās not just Jeep with the rebates and incentives, itās also the dealerships with market adjustments and add-ons. Getting people to pay an extra $5-10k in mark ups and another $2-3k with ads-ons like paint protection etc. the customer ends up paying $10-15k over msrp plus tax and title...
The car market is all over the place right now. A lot of people have a lot of negative equity if they bought something in the last 2 or 3 years, interest rates are high, there are discounts/rebates on new vehicles. Used prices are all over the map.
If you like what you have it might be a good...
I know right now the local Jeep dealer is flooded with gladiatorsā¦I would say the prices still have to go lower to sell these jeeps.
the discounts are good right now, I would suspect they will get better.

They are probably attempting to give the dealers some time to move the new ā23s. I know in SLC they are offering really big discounts and the lots are full of them. Nothing is moving right now.
If they release pricing and the new 24s roll onto the lot that will just make it that much worse...
I didnāt have that particular light bar, but I did have an overhead light bar on my wrangler. It was obnoxiously loud and also whistled. I fiddled around with it for several weeks. I added little spacers and little fins and different āsolutionsā to eliminate or at least reduce the noise...
These are strange times for sure. There seem to be two different outlooks for 2024. There is a doom and gloom outlook and a rosy sunshine outlook.
I just have been telling myself to be happy with what I have for the short term and see what happens.

One of the biggest problems for Jeep resale value is the rebates/incentives on new ones. Dealers are knocking $8-12k off the price of new gladiators which means the used ones must come down as well.
depreciation used the be a thing, then it went away during the pandemic and now it is backā¦...
I have bought a lot of used vehicles over the years, some good, some not so good. Itās not the mileage that will get you, itās how the previous owner treated the vehicle.
the wild card is the maintenance and the day to day treatment. You just donāt know what the previous owner did. A vehicle...
I like the BFG KO2 tire. They wear like iron and do well both off roads and in the snow. I live in SLC where it snows quite a bit. We drive up the canyons to the ski resorts which can be pretty gnarly and we tow snowmobiles to trailheads which can be even gnarlier.
You also canāt go wrong...
Parts fail. Itās always a bummer when that happens, however, itās all part of ownership. 80,000 trouble free miles is pretty good. I have had vehicles over the years that have been basket cases and others that have been great.
Still a bummer when a major repair is required but it would not...
There are a lot of games being played with pricing, especially when dealer add-ons are included or other non factory āupgradesā.
In SLC it seems to be around $5k off MSRP. That seems to be the going rate around here. The larger discounts were more like $8k but those were on the much higher...
I have owned Miataās in the past and I even raced NASA and SCCA for a few years. Fun carsā¦butā¦unless I was going to build a dedicated race car/track car there are probably better choices.
Your gladiator is a good truck, super versatile and you can pop the top and doors off in the summer. I...
Another way to look at it is if you agreed to the original price (parts and labor) and you felt like it was a fair deal, then you can be happy with just paying what you originally agreed to.
The other way to pay is parts plus however long it takes. That could be a riskier approach if the...
