I went to Hauk Lettering and did this. Its not much better than peel and stick (agree it should've been an embossed logo) - but this truly dresses up the back.....
Concur with everyone's inputs..... personal preference is what matters most. If you are doing any leveling or future lift - don't do it half-azz - do it....thereby, 35's is what you will likely want to consider. I regretted my TJ with 33's and a 3" lift. It never really looked right with...

The Rhino Lining gives it a nice textured/rugged look. I did the same on the front (removing the Rubicon lettering). It turned out nice! Here is before/after.
Full Disclosure: I dropped it off at a shop to have the lettering spray coated with Rhino Lining and had them remove the JEEP letters and install. They were given instruction to call Hauk (they did). They further said yes, it was a PITA to accomplish. However, they nailed it. Total for...
BrnxBomr2 - Call HAUK while putting on Template - they are SUPER helpful! I highly encourage you to do the same to avoid any miscues and regret. The template is a bit tricky..... the end result is superior though......
