I must say, zero complaints out of my Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs after running them for 5 years.
Held on to the bead after losing 1/4 of my rim right at the entrance to big sluice on the Rubicon trail. Made it the whole way down and finally the rim failed the rest of the way at the very bottom.

Do you spend alot of time stopping to take pictures? Pre plan routes/lines? All my completion times fall within averages for someone solo who isn't waiting at any obstacles which is the conditions I got to enjoy thankfully. Honestly surprised...
It's on Imogene Pass, about halfway up on the Telluride side.

There's even provisions if you're on a base without a hobby shop and work at a unit that has maintainence bays the commander can authorize personal vehicle maintenance there during liberty hours.

I swapped fluid and filter shortly after symptoms started and found a good bit of friction material in the pan, new fluid didn't help it get any better, once it starts the damage is done. It'll keep degrading, then it'll start to hang going into reverse. Then eventually it will start missing...
Ehh I just saw the second wall and assumed. It's not like the inspection plate right above that and the dinky little rubber plugs are doing a great job at sealing the bell housing anyway.
It shouldn't be a water and dust intrusion issue. It's sealed from the actual interior of the bell housing.
Also I haven't really been driving my normal because of some work stuff going on, but everything feels like it's got more pep in its step so probably.
