2020 Rubicon w/6.4L hemi. I started getting the telltale signs of an aux battery failure (aux switches not available, gear indicator not lit, etc), so I changed both batteries this morning. Everything works properly except the two cameras. I tried the reset (press both volume and tune buttons...
Our lake house is finally ready, so Mrs. Factoid, the dog, the cat and my ā64 Corvette are leaving Saturday morning.
If you see us on the road, give the old double honk. Weāll be heading up 85 north from Atlanta and then to 77 in VA to my brothers house On Saturday. Then 95 north across the...
It was easier than I thought, but I had to air it down to about 10 lbs., just enough to keep the bead set. This will allow me to have a spare while towing the Corvette up to NY. as you will see, it is a very tight fit! Had to slightly bend the edge of the heat shield and I have about 1/4ā...
The wife and I were in NY last week inspecting our lake house remodel. It is coming along nicely and we should be moving in just before Thanksgiving. Very exciting!
As I was looking out the MBR window, look who showed up. He is welcoming my JTR to her new home!
Went to the Caffeine and Octane show in Atlanta yesterday.
Here is how Jeeps park. Apparently, very poor parking skills.
Oh, and something special for @ShadowsPapa.
I have a Rubicon and everything is perfect for my needs, including my 37/13.50-20 tires on 20x10 Fuel wheels that hang outside the fenders by about 1 1/2ā. I havenāt been stopped, but I understand some states require the tires to be inside the fenders. Texas doesnāt care as long as parts donāt...
Finally got away for a few hours and installed the Synergy brace and track bar. I have a JTR with Mopar lift, Falcon 2.2 stabilizer and 37/13.5-20 tires on 20x10 rims. I didnāt think I had any steering issues, just normal solid axle play, but unless it is the placebo affect, it feels tighter and...
I finally got all my lights wired up, so this morning when I realized I forgot to put the trash out and had to run down, back the JTR out and put out the can, I grabbed a few pictures. No lights, normal headlights, Rigid brushbar 10ā light, and Rigid dual 3ā cubes on the cowl (floods outboard...
A few months ago, someone posted about a dash cam (I think they mounted it on the speaker bar) that can see front and back and has a motion mode. Anyone know the camera?
I have the 2ā Mopar lift with 37ā tires and a front winch. There is just a bit too much rake and Iād like to level it out a bit. The truck rides beautifully, so I would prefer to lower the rear about an inch rather than raise the front. Any thoughts on best approach?
I recently drove my hemi powered Rubicon from Atlanta to San Antonio with the wife and dog. Nothing real exciting as it was all highway, but I thought I would post up some impressions. We did it over two days stopping in Baton Rogue for the night which is about half way. My state of residence is...
I need a tent that will fit above the truck bed so I donāt add more height, has 4ā of headroom, has a sleeping area at least 60ā x 78ā and a thicker mattress or at least room to add a queen mattress topper as my wife requires a thicker mattress. Hard shell, ventilation and some rain protection...
Travel kept me from picking it up, so I had the dealer install the Mopar lift while it was sitting there. Looks funny sitting tall with stock wheels, but fear not, 37/12.5 Nittos on Fuel Rampage wheels coming soon along with several other improvements. I have the stock Rubicon suspension and...
