OK, great advice. After taking to another dealer (Palladium Jeep, Kanata) they were awesome. The service manager test drive my Ruby and he owns one, said he will order the parts and get it fixed. Offered me to bring back or a free rental, while I wait. Took the free rental as not driving...
4700 lbs, but 2nd pic, as many mentioned, is a no brainer, wouldn’t tow without trailer braking, weight distribution, and sway bars.
Pulls like nothing is there.
Steep long uphill fuel economy...different story, but was expected.
Yes, I’m in Canada and they never really did a “launch” event or pre-order...they just showed up on dealer lots. Dealers got their quantity based on jeep sales volume.
Where I bought mine, they had 3, all different colors. Sales guy didn’t even know what a launch was, that part was...
Congrats to you
I started that way, as I am in sales and expect you get what you give...but I lost my honey a while ago.
Happy for you getting it fixed, but you might not have had so much honey if you had to go through it for months without a problem fixed, that you “feel” everyday.
Bought my Rig in December, too busy with Christmas after immediate notice of JT steering after first two-handed, white knuckle drive on major highway with lots of transport trucks...just plain scary.
So, my steering issue fight began January 2nd, and after 13 days without my truck and no...
I am still using a controller I bought on kijiji for $50 and the adapter for ram with pin swap. I’ll wait until they have it in stock in Canada and get it.
I put my controller in its box under back seat when not needed and sit it in front of 4wd shifter when I use it, cable tucks up under dash...
I have only towed my Toy Hauler empty so far...about 4400 lbs. watched all temp levels and no issues, even with climbing some pretty big hills. Fuel economy sucks pretty bad with the revs up, but flawless towing.
I have a weight distribution hitch with integrated sway bar, so that surely helps.
Couldn’t wait anymore in Canada:
Ordered a Tekonsha connector - 3024-P
Swapped the black and blue wires and connected to factory plug under dash.
Connected to Primus IQ
Works perfect and I’ll wait out the storm for the factory install in lighter socket.
Wonder how it will work for Canada ?!?
We didn’t even have a pre-order...dealerships got them based on their sales volume.
@JeepCares maybe can clarify.
