Purchased the sumosprings easiest install ever. Pop the old bump stop off pop the new one on. they feel pretty tight in the bump stop mount. about 1“ from the axle. Have not towed yet will report.

I tow a 5000lb boat probably 5-600 lb tongue weight and I have some bouncping with larger bumps and some times hits bump stops. Maybe not necessary but will help
