Old guy posting pics alert so here’s link to my Instagram to see this strange part. It was covered in grease and looking under and everywhere I can think I can’t see where this may have come from? If it came from my jeep? Was on a friends driveway and they have a jeep too, so we’re both...
I just stopped by a dealer and looked over the new bronco, much like the raptor, it's a fat pig.
It's as wide as a half ton. The wrangler/gladiator will win this war for two reasons.
1. it's truly mid-size segment and will park and fit down trails as such.
2. solid front axle.
Ford you effed...
At least I think it’s them as I can reach and wiggle with my hands to expose the lack of tolerance in the connection joint. Guessing it shouldn’t be anything to do with lift and 3/4” pucks I also had put in up front? Always felt it most noticeable from up under front passenger side which is...
I took a vid and posted on my instagram. It's a mopar lift with 3/4" front spacers up front as well. Thing sounds aweful offroad, a bumpy field really brings it out.
Any ideas where i should start looking, dealer installed. Makes it one seriously crappy truck for getting near any wildlife...
So i took a few off the face this past summer, about 20-30 mph (40-60 km/h) windows down and the angle of the mirrors send harder body or larger bugs right into my face or side of head, worst one was a wasp stung me as it bounced into side of my head off the mirror then ricochet off my head out...
Sport S, 6-speed manual, 37" x 12.5" falken mt's on stock wheels, tazer jl mini setting 36.45" to make speedo gps accurate at 80 mph.
3200 miles and 13 tanks of fuel with stock 3.73 axle ratio was 16.0 mpg all driving, mostly city dad duty.

Finally, Yukon Gears, got it back yesterday, have been working through break in now but can say it's worth it.
I can no throttle clutch crawl through drive thru now lol
Here's actual rpm data in both km/h and mph for Jeepers on both sides of the border.
*Sport S, 6-speed, 4.88, Mopar lift...
2" mopar with 3/4" strut spacers additional. 37x12.5 Falken Wildpeak M/T's. Even have overland mopar side steps. The five gallon bucket slides right under there no problem for easy oil changes. Just sayin.
First, the jeep.
Sport S, 6-speed
Started with 315 70r17 goodyear duratracs on mickey thompson classic III's (62 lbs on 28 lbs), 4.5" back spacing on mopar lift. Averaged over 10 tanks of fuel 15.2 liters per hundred km (about 15.5 mpg), granted, winter.
Made the change to factory wheels with...
So while i was a jeep guy young, it was a short stay there as i ended up being a truck guy more so. It's wonderful now to be able to combine the two and now i'm a jeep truck guy. But as a truck guy first, i found the JT early, and the themes/accessories are, so far, all jeep...
So i just got the 2" mopar dealer installed. It's brutally cold here in Alberta currently so i'm not ruling it out as a factor but as soon as i went into a pretty mild crop field for some pics and hit a bump bigger than a manhole cover depression or raised lip on an entrance into a parking lot i...
So trying to find out spring rates of the 2" mopar thats about to hit my nice and soft sport s 6 spd with it's 4k tow cap and 400 lb tongue weight. From searching it sounds like this mopar lift has only one part number and goes on an awful lot of max tows and rubi's...does this mean it's sprung...
I want to lock my doors with the fob, unlock my doors with the fob, start the car with a key that sticks all my keys into the dash, and stop the car with my key which is attached to all my other keys and that way they always go where the jeep goes when it's running and with the driver when it's...
Lurked for awhile, first post but i'll share my build as i go, will be picking up my sport s 6spd in a day or two. Would like to truetrac both ends, can't seem to find answer if this is actually possible? Does anyone know on this yet?
