When I run into stuff like that... I would thread a bolt part way in to the holes, and hit the head of the bolt with some wet paint, and just carefully push the liner against them. should get you close enough.
I was told because mine was aftermarket, they would not cover it. But if it had been factory they would have.
My experience with the dealer was excellent.
Weāll⦠I started this thread over a year ago and Iām ashamed to say I just now installed and used it.
And itās AMAZING! Shouldāa done this long ago. Super easy to hook up, and connect to. ( just like you all said) .
Only used it for tire size and TPMS, which it worked perfectly for. Oh and that...
Take a look at The new Falken Wildpeak RT. I put on set of 35x11.50-C ⦠nice tire!
I replaced a set of 35x12.50ās I had for a short while (cheap Chinese set), very heavy, tough to balance. These Falkenās are excellent, lighter, handle WAY better, no issues off road, little loud, and 3 sidewall...
I have an Arcus and a warn, installed easily. I did use a couple washers to push the bumper skin away from the winch a bit. Donāt think itās necessary, but I didnāt want any rubbing. I posted about it couple years ago.
Donāt do it!
Iāve been buying tires online for years, and this is the only purchase I regret.
I got a set of 12.50 x35 , nice tread design, worked great off road, but sucked on road. Very heavy, and could not balance mine. Sold them at a loss. Oh well, live and learn. Glad you asked!
I did exactly what youāre intending. Ran 12g grounded to a near by frame ground, Mounted just a simple round marine 12v outlet, in the plastic panel in the bed side wall. Works great!
Ditch the list and have fun!
Sand is funā¦. Air down, turn traction control off, momentum.
A decent compressor, tire gauge, shovel, tow strap.
Have Fun!
I donāt know anything about that brand, but I will say that tire weight makes a way bigger difference in handling/drive ability than I thought. Just changed out of an expensive mistake!
Just installed my Christmas presentā¦
Just cut what you need from the supplied harness, from the lights. Combine the two pos, splice to the aux wire you choose, combine the two neg attach to ground. Good to go!
The aux circuits are fused, and relayed.
Thereās a lot of info here;

The short of it is, once I got them to send a second PnP adapter for the other taillight, they worked great! ( and have for 4 years now)
It took a few contacts, but...
Iāve commented before on this, but I still stand on that the JT has been the best snow handling vehicle Iāve owned. The last four NH winterās on Falken MTās , two sand tubes in the bed.
⦠Your salesman didnāt disclose that Jeepās LEAK ! š¬
Yeah, when I found my first puddle, I was just outside the warranty. When I read the āfine printā on the extended warranty, found that leaks are NOT covered! I did what any cheap prick would do⦠I took the drain plug out. Problem solved ! š
Impressed!!
In a couple things, that the truck has preformed so well, and that you figured out (fixed) the issue so quick! Nice work! My 21 JTR has been the best vehicle I've owned (knock wood) !
Brings me to a question... is there a good comprehensive workshop manual anywhere?? I do a fair...
