Got a SpotX for Christmas. My 12 year old son and I are preparing for a camping trip in My Gladiator to Wyoming from Pennsylvania this coming summer. Thought this would be good to keep in touch and track progress. Looking for ideas, suggestions. Haven’t hooked it up yet. Also running GMRS...
Removed my carpet for beach use. Much easier to clean up but this JT is more of a PIA than previous Jeeps (been Jeepin for over 25 years —M-38A1- never had carpet, YJ was a quick process, JKU was a little bit more involved). Seem like I might put thugs back in, in the fall when I go back to...

Participated in Krawlin 4 K9s, a benefit for law enforcement K9s at Rausch Creek, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Fun event For most. Had a JT sport in my group. Also had a Lexus LX470 and a Ram Rebel. Both did pretty well. A guy in a JKU with a 6.2 Hemi in my group hydrolocked on the pole line...
I removed the front plastic bumper - Easy enough. Then getting to the LED lights and wiring harness was pretty involved. Posting so folks ca see and decide for themselves. If I had it to do over, I’d just buy new LEDs and wiring and sell the complete bumper with lights to offset the cost. YMMV...
I was camping in Rothrock State Forest in Pennsylvania when I heard some noises near my Gladiator. I came out and saw a porcupine under it gnawing on something. Very hard to see in this picture - it’s standing up with its head in the trans tunnel. I chased it off by yelling and throwing sticks...
