2 hours/115 miles on my original Gorilla Glass.
Second Gorilla Glass was installed 3 months later after multiple issues even getting a warranty claim opened and then finally waiting on the part, but this one has lasted 9 months and 7,000 miles so far.
I bought and installed the same ones the first week of ownership. Neither of mine were broken but I saw plenty of people say it's only a matter of time, so I figured I'd stay ahead of it and install these metal clips and not count the days until my visors fall.
I finally cancelled last week. I can't wait any longer. I measured some camping gear and can actually Tetris it in under a tonneau cover, so I just went with a Tyger one from Amazon. This gives me a $1,000 budget for other things, which includes ceramic tint this Friday and Rokblokz flaps.
Btw...
I'm still waiting on mine. My expected ship date keeps getting pushed back. When I ordered it on January 2nd it was a 30 day expected wait. Now my newest anticipated shipping date is the first week of June. I just don't understand the delay. It's not like these contain rare computer chips or...
Did you ever get yours? I'm still waiting on mine. My expected ship date keeps getting pushed back. When I ordered it was a 30 day expected wait. Now my newest anticipated shipping date is the first week of June. I just don't understand the delay. It's not like these contain rare computer chips...
It's in the documentation that you quoted above. Mopar Parts and Accessories Warranty.
I'd have to dig for it but somewhere I have a paper or pamphlet that came with my Jeep that also references this warranty.
Nope, this is included with the windshield with factory builds. All of these factory built add-ons are considered accessories. I went through the same thing. My windshield was cracked due to road debris. It was covered 100% by warranty.
I suggest the OP to argue his denial.
Just got word my April 4th anticipated shipping date got pushed back another month, which will make it 5 months from order to delivery if that May shipping date even holds.
I don't understand what the holdup is. It's fabric, metal, and plastic. They have plenty of all of it to make Jeep tops...
Yeah, I ordered mine January 3 and I hate that they charge at the time of ordering rather than at the time of shipping. It sucks because it's not just something I want, it's something I need. The twill material is only something I wanted rather than needed, but I just wanted it to match my...
Fellow Oklahoman here too. My twill version should be shipping April 4, unless I hear otherwise, which I'm honestly not going to hold my breath on that delivery date, but we'll see.
I personally don't mind those unintentional "pleats", but I totally get why others do.
Aside from this, any issues with leaks or panels becoming unzipped or unseated?
That looks really good!
Can you expand on your feelings so far?
Bestop told me on Facebook that turnaround times for the twill are about 2.5 months. So I'm roughly guessing my January 3rd order will arrive around mid to late March.
It took me 3 different dealerships and 2 weeks of headache to even get my claim started. This finally happened this past Thursday, so we'll see how it goes.
In addition to being completely ignored eventually by one dealership, I got told by all dealerships that I didn't purchase any additional...
As long as you're a member for 30 days or more before taking delivery you'll qualify. As a courtesy heads up I would notify your dealership POC.
One thing I'm not certain on is if dealerships can reject the offer. Might look into that first by seeing if your dealership honors it, and then sign...
