  2. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

I changed mine at 500 miles to get the factory stuff out. Will do it at 3-5000 with full synthetic. Texas is too hot to let it go for too long. Funny, when i changed the oil at 500,the ticking noises from the motor went away. Amsoil for life :)

  8. Finally.....

After a year of debating with the wife, she said ok to a Mojave just as long as I get it in Red. I can't wait. I am setting it up as a beach fishing vehicle. Padre Island, here I come :) I have to say thank you to all the forum members that post here. I have been lurking for a year now...
  9. What do YOU do to make your Gladiator last forever.

i over maintain the vehicle. I use synthetic oil (Mobil 1 ) Every 3-4000 miles. Battery every two years. I don't care if it is still "good" . As it gets older and starts losing it charge quicker , it puts strain on the electrical system . Transmission fluid change at 50000. Synthetic also ...

  12. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

Oh its not legit and I don't like it either. It happens every day. I have seen new vehicles dropped off the trailer and repaired by a body shop and sold as new. I think there is a certain amount they can go up to before they have to tell you. Varies by state. It is a nasty business. Not all are...
  13. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

The dealer will know but probably won't tell. They could wholesale it out and have someone else deal with it. Buyer beware. That is why i would never buy used. I would go with the used as it is OEM. The truck hasn't been out that long to have bad used parts out there.Aftermarket is where you...
  14. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

2800 is a joke. You cannot appraise a car off photos unless it is a bumper scuff. I hope the hell it wasn't my company. They are pushing more and more the "easy estimate" and have adjusters with no experience in the field writing them. Let the shop work with them. I am sure they have had to deal...
  15. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

So how did it work out or are you still waiting?
  16. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

That thing took a nice hit. Glad you are ok. Right side frame rail looks like it is out. Right side wheel is facing to much to the right. You bagged them in the a pillar which is very stout part of the vehicle. I don't know what the insurance laws are in your state but in Texas, if you replace a...
