Steering has been an issue from day one. I’ve given up on that. Had to replace both sunvisors, can’t really call that a reliability issue but definitely a quality concern. And…….oh yeah left me stranded at an intersection with the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. A flashing one at that...
Same here. Had the TSB done which made no difference. Take it back and they say they drove it and there's nothing wrong with it. Problem is my mileage didn't change. How dumb do they think I am? They tell me to bring it back after I after point out that the mileage was only 4.5 miles (the...
I have not yet fixed it. Here is a link to a thread where someone did fix one. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/used-bestop-sunrider-for-hardtop-for-sale-400.43131/
I'm going to try to do the same thing.
Had to have both of mine replaced under warranty. They felt loose and cheap from the beginning. I have to say the replacements feel different. They snap into place better and the movement is stiffer. I don’t know whether that means that they’ve actually been updated and will last longer or if...
I received and installed my original Sunrider in July of 2020. I noticed in November 2020 that my passenger side Z-clip was broken. The top was replaced under warranty and the new one has been on the truck since December 2020. This morning when I arrived at work, as I was closing the top, I...
Just had this happen a couple of weeks ago, except I was at a red light in a busy intersection. The dealership replaced the aux battery and it started but still showed a bunch of codes. They ended up saying it was a bad “fuse box” and they ordered a new one and replaced it. So far so good...
I could see just taking it as a "Jeep thing" and getting used to it, except so many experienced Jeep owners say that this is not the case. Also a lot of JT owners say theirs steers like any other truck. IDK, it does make sense for a solid front axle to have some wander to it. I don't really feel...
If your happy with the way it drives, I would leave it alone. There are quite a few of us that have the new one and have major wandering issues. In some cases it has made it worse.
Count me into this group as well. Feel like I'm in limbo with this thing. They couldn't find an issue when I brought it in before the TSB. Now after the TSB it's no better. Why should I bother bringing it back? Really frustrating.
Same here. TSB done and still as bad as it ever was. Feel really disappointed and let down. Haven't felt like dealing with it. I already had taken it in before the TSB was available and they found no issues, so why should I bring it back? Maybe I'll try another dealership. I called several in...
Had the TSB performed yesterday. For some reason my outcome has not been the same as what others seem to be experiencing. My steering is definitely not any better. In fact I think it's slightly worse. Still loose, slow to respond and wandering. Checked the new steering box and it is the correct...
I almost did the same. I just didn't like the way the dealers closer to me were talking. They insisted that I had to make an appointment for them to check out all the sales codes first. They were inferring that there was a possibility that the gear box might not get swapped. I actually made and...
I received a call from Crystal @ Bestop today. She said she was approving me for the $200. I'm thinking I'm good to go. Just have to wait 8-10 weeks to find out.
