I throw them away and regret that someone thought that it was a good marketing idea to add them. Why should I do free advertisement for a vendor when I paid for the stuff?
(But I am also someone who does not wear clothes that have the manufacturer's name all over the place -hello, 90s. A small...
I have them on my JT for about 10k now, and they are doing fine in snow and rain. I have not noticed significant differences to other MTs that I ran before (and are better than the Dick Cepeks that I had on my JK as the last set of tires). They got a bit louder over time, but that is also not...
In case you're looking for a RTT, Tuff Stuff has them discounted and add a free awning to your order - https://tuffstuff4x4.com/collections/tent-accessories/products/tuff-stuff-r-roof-top-awning
I bought 285s as well, and one of the reasons was to save some money in reusing the stock rims, while also getting better tires in a larger size. So far i love it...

The frame is still the lowest point.
Milestar Patagonias in 285 with no lift on a Max Tow with standard rims ... I don't think it needs a lift. The only thing I will do later is to paint the rims black.
That looks interesting, but I feel burned from the experience and having to cobble together various parts from different sources doesn't create confidence (esp. when the cable from your original link is not available anymore and I would have to guess the correct one that Amazon shows as...
I figured it out.
This whole thing is crap and cheap. After I fiddled with the ODB2 I looked at the cable and one of the pins was broken off in the box, so that I even could not install it. I am happy that I did not remove the brackets and other stuff that is mentioned in the instructions.
It...
