Does anybody have experience with have this HU and getting caught with the top off in the rain. I go topless most of the summer and get caught in the occasional NY rainstorm. Id hate to spend the money and end up frying this. The Alpine unit looks nice but i really dont want to spend that much.
Im trying to figure out a rolling top hoist. My garage isnt big enough to do something from the ceiling and i really dont want to spend over 1k for the Top Lift Pro. I was thinking there should be a way to convert an old engine hoist to work. Has anybody DIY’d a rolling lift?
Not on spacers. They said because they are not stock they wont touch them. I asked them what they told the people they sold the lifted jeeps on the lot when they came n for service and just got blank stares.
That was my argument. They would t even mount and balance them on the rims when i got them. Luckily my free oil changes are used up and i dont have to deal with them anymore
my local dealer won't rotate the tires on my Gladi because they aren't the stock size. I have a sport s and put 285/70/17s on aftermarket wheels. Its not like I have 40's or anything crazy
I had a set of 265/70s that got me through a year when i found the wheels. I was planning on waiting but I found the wheels last year for $125 for the set. Guy just wanted them gone, i couldnt pay fast enough.
If my glass comes in and it isnt the slider im going to not be very happy, i usually leave the back portion of the hard top on for the kids and just open the slider
my Dealer called me today, glass arrived and should be in either tomorrow or monday. I also had tires to be mounted and balanced but they wont do them because they are larger than stock. Has anybody ever heard of that before? I have a sport S and an putting 285/70/17s on
Has anybody installed this into there trucks yet? Im looking to see how much of the factory stuff im going to loose.
