My $.02, I really wanted the black fenders and ended up finding a Firecracker Sport S with the color matched. Love it...makes the Jeep look a bit more polished and looks great. Plan on wheeling the hell out of this and not a worry about trail pinstripes.
Hey Doc Mike- I’m in Denver and I had seen this too. Rubi takeoffs over $250 and stock wheels/tires over $500 or so I find pretty funny. Maybe I dont know the market, but I grabbed Rubi take-offs with new tires for $600, Rubi suspension for $200 and sold my old stock silvers wheels and meats...
Hi Birel33-
You stated you came from a RAV4 and I owned one back in the day too. Hope you love the JT.
in regards to change, you are doing it wrong. All of your extra money (and change) should be used for Jeep stuff and accessories. I didn’t quite understand your question. But I asked my wife...
1.5” Terraflex and .75 Daystar rear with Rubi shocks and springs. It totally changed the look from stock and looks way better with that minimal difference. Rides better than stock, IMO and no issues with this set-up. I picked up brand new wheels/tires for $600 as JL takeoffs and super...
White is tough and the Sting/Crystal is sick, but something about the Red just looks so sharp. Wasn’t quite digging it until I installed the lift and JL takeoffs with BFG KOs. The photo looks a little off as the rear is exactly 1” higher than the front...looks even to the untrained eye, but this...
I am disappointed in the way people stop me and they are always saying “...nice Jeep...” and “...cool ride dude...”. Sometimes I just want to get where I am going!
Also hate how I love driving this thing so much with the top and doors off.
Looking for a set of 4+1 Rubi take-offs with the Falken MT tires. Ideally with TPMS and low mileage with a budget of $800. I know...beggars cannot be choosers. :) Located in Colorado if there is a localish set. Thanks!
Many thanks for the additional details, experience, and opinions. I really appreciate it and from what I read, the AT + the 4:10 is likely the way we will go. Hard to beat an 8spd and we too enjoyed the test drive with this trans. Thanks
Thanks for the info...I have also read quite a bit on this thread about the 35” and AT set-up. Just want to make sure I am not making a mistake buying an AT Max Tow when a MT might fit our needs better. My wife and I are both on board with the MT as the few we test drive were a blast...
Hi Gladiator Forum! Researching and I have seen, read, and watched quite a bit about the different gears and configurations. I cannot afford the Rubi, but wanted a capable rig that I can add 35” tires and modest lift to.
Considering an AT Max Tow due to the gears- although I know the 4:10 V the...
