  1. Protecting Your Rear - Sheridan hitch mounted skid from Warfab

Just for reference, here’s a picture of my Warfab Sheridan after a couple of years of wheeling. It’s been through hell, it’s taken a beating, and it’s borne the brunt of a lot of hits, drags, and slides that would have torn up my hitch or bumper.
  2. WTB - Take Off Shocks from Rubicon or Mojave

I have some down in Austin, but I may be going to Dallas next Friday.
  3. Help me understand the Fox Rubicon shocks

I’ve had the Fox 2.0 on mine for almost two years and just this past weekend at a Jamboree one of them broke when I hit a tree branch sticking up out of the ground - the piston rod broke right at the bottom where it connects to the bracket. I was going normal trail speed (maybe 10 or so) and I...
  4. Texas $200 Five Falken Wildpeak Rubicon Takeoffs w/6000 miles

I’ll be here this weekend - just let me know when.
  5. Texas $200 Five Falken Wildpeak Rubicon Takeoffs w/6000 miles

A quick estimate from USPS to ship from here to there with each tire weighing about 60 pounds, it would cost just over $200 per tire to ship. Probably not worth it...
  6. Texas $200 Five Falken Wildpeak Rubicon Takeoffs w/6000 miles

I don't really make it up that way very often, sorry.
  7. Texas Sold: $200 Five Falken Wildpeak Rubicon Takeoffs w/6000 miles

Howdy, I have the five original tires that came on my Rubicon JT. I took them off after about 6000 miles to put on some BFG 37s the spare is unused. They've been kicking around my garage since then, and I need the space back. I also have the original Rubicon suspension that I'll post in...
  8. Do you forget and wave to another Jeep even if you're not in your Jeep sometimes.

I ride a motorcycle when I'm not in my Gladiator and I get wicked confused, waving at Jeeps while I'm on the bike, and waving at bikes when I'm in the truck...
  9. Calling owners of the following sliders: RockHard 4x4, RockyRoad, Ace Engineering, White Knuckle, and Expedition One $1200+/- budget

I have Rockhard angled down, and there's plenty of times I've used them to literally slide over rocks. No problems, and it makes it a lot easier to get around some things that the long wheelbase may make difficult.
  10. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

I do have a Tazer - I wonder if the guy pushed the button a lot when he was walking to the truck. I drove it home tonight and my wife was driving behind me - she said she didn't see any problems, so that could be a good explanation. Thanks!
  11. Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

I just dropped my truck off at a shop (separate issue with the front suspension) and when the tech drove it away I noticed that three of the white reverse lights were on (driver's side and both bumper lights - all Oracle) while the truck was in drive. I never look at the back of the truck while...
  12. WTB original LED tail lights

If all else fails I've got some that are not new, and the right side one is broken. The light works, but it got torn off by a tree during a Jamboree. The frame that holds it to the truck broke, but I think it can be either glued or repaired. I'll give them to you for free if you can't find newer...
  13. Rugged Ridge Arcus

Oh, I see - the hi-lift sticks into the hole under the hook, which isn't covered over by the shackle mounts. Makes sense.
  14. Rugged Ridge Arcus

I'm definitely leaning that way, but it's been pretty nice having the hooks on my stock bumper at a few Jamborees and other off-roading trips where I've gotten high-centered and the person in front of me only needed to throw a tow rope over the hook to quickly yank me over (that sounds obscene...
  15. Rugged Ridge Arcus

When you say "cut the round nib off the back of the shackle mount" are you talking about the part that kind of sticks out the front around the 'root' of the shackle mount? I'm torn between trying to replace the horns with these shackle mounts, or using the spacer to raise my lights above the horns.
  16. What’s connected to your AUX switches?

How did you wire the Flex Era 4s? I'm trying to figure out how to make the three-position switch included with the lights work with the two-position aux switch. I'm getting ready to put on a new bumper and want to put the Flex Era 4s on there. Edit: Never mind, I just saw this post.
  17. Texas Check In

You won't miss it when you can go off-roading with the tops off!
  18. Rock Hard 4x4 Sliders

Yep - 4" x 60' Anti Slip Traction Tape from Amazon. That roll ($23 or so) was plenty to do both sides and still have plenty left over. It's been pretty durable and even held up decent during some really aggressive off-roading incidents where there were rocks scraping up over the top of the sliders.
  19. Where did you WHEEL your Gladiator today?

I think davetha answered most of your questions, but yeah, there are tons of trails at all levels and you can do many of them with a stock Gladiator. It's a super capable truck right off the dealer lot, so just start with the easiest trails then work your way up to the harder ones as your...
