  1. My Jeep Was Spared From a Freight Train Disaster! (Caught on Video)

I'm a railfan. I enjoy watching trains and sometimes take pictures and videos of them. Today I spent the late morning at my usual spot watching freight trains go by. This crossing only has crossbucks and a stop sign. Unfortunately this particular guy decided not to stop. My Jeep was literally...
  2. Truck Hero Rebates

Bought a set of side steps for my sister's Jeep in December. Was told it qualified for a $100 rebate card. I filed all information and was approved the $100 rebate in mid January. Well it's almost April and it's still listed as approved but awaiting shipping. Has anyone had any success with this...
  3. Show Me Your Carport

I just moved into my first house. I was previously living at my parents place, and my grandparents place about 50/50 and always had a garage to park in. My new place is a single wide, and I live by myself so I can basically do whatever I want with the place. I'm looking at ideas on a carport/car...
  4. It's Back (Rear end rattle/clunk)

I thought I wouldn't have to worry anymore, but my rear end it making metalic rattle noises/clunks with minimal flexing. Backing out of driveway "clunk". Turning onto another street "rattle clink". What in the world is it?? I get out, shake the rear end, jump up and down, but can't replicate it...
  5. Re-torque Suspension? *UPDATE*

I have almost 7k miles on my jeep and the Mopar lift. I noticed recently I get alot of faint popping/rattling over bumps. Mostly at slow speeds. I'm wondering if maybe I should have the dealer re-torque all my suspension components especially after it's been settled in. Will this be covered by...
  6. Traveller Off Road Lights from Tractor Supply

Does anyone have experience with the LED light pods from Traveller/Tractor Supply? I've seen some at my local store. 4" inch for $45 a piece. The price is good, but does the performance reflect the price?
  7. Railroad Strikes

Just warning everyone that supplies of all goods and Automobiles may become a worsening pandemic. Railroad workers are threatening to strike. From a Facebook post by Railroad Workers United "The Norfolk Southern (NS) is running roughshod over trainmen and engineers, flagrantly violating the...

I have a new Readylift 2.5" spacer lift kit for sale. Keep your stock ride and increase your clearance. Asking $350. I live on the Pennsylvania/Maryland border. Contact me for more info. Request puckup/drop off. Shipping is too expensive. No pictures because its just in a brown box.
  9. Windshield Washer Clogged?

Noticed yesterday my windshield washer fluid wasn't spraying correctly. Wouldn't reach the windshield. I thought it was almost used up so I filled it up but the tank only took half a jug. Still won't work. I can hear the motor working. Is it clogged up? I've been using the green RainX bug...
  10. PCM Updates For Someone Who Never Goes to Dealer

I do my own preventative maintenance. Never go to the dealer unless warranty related. Just wondering if there's a way to check for any uodates or PCM flashes I might need or want. It's a July 2020 build. Is it worth it to call and ask my dealer if I need any updates or will they notify me?
  11. Looking For Specific Decal

I saw a picture a while back of a specific decal now can't find it. It looks similar to this but with the military style star integrated. I want to buy one but everyone just has the JT or helmet logo.
  12. Adding A Spacer

I have the Mopar lift on my Sport. Thinking of adding a 3/4" front spacer to reduce some rake. 1. Will this affect my alignment or caster? 2. Will this over extend my shocks? 3. Is this a quick job?
  13. Interesting Observation

Just a month after owning my JT I used the Rough Country calibrator to set my 35s. I choose 33.50 and the speedometer was correct at speeds up to 80mph. Fast forward to yesterday, (9 months later) I used my JScan App to make some changes with seatbelt chime and changing my lights back to legal...
  14. Best Place to Buy My Bumper

I'm setting my eyes on a new front bumper. Specifically a Rock Hard aluminum. What would be the best option? Buy direct from Rock Hard website or buy from Quadratec? Quadratec is slightly more expensive, but I get a small member discount. Rock Hard is cheaper, but shipping is more expensive...
  15. Pentastar Engine Plant Video

I've seen the main Jeep assembly plant video posted, but not the engine facility. I believe the Gladiator engines are made in Mexico (mine was), so who knows how different it is from the Trenton plant in this video. Pretty neat though!
  16. Scanner Mount?

I'm big into railfaning, as well as listening to air traffic and emergency radio bands. I was wondering if there are any mounts, similar to a phone mount, to hold handheld police scanner? Right now I keep it in my cup holder, but was wondering if they made something to instal near the dash or...
  17. (Stupid?) Question About Oil Filter

I know everyone has their own opinion on oil change intervals. From the first 1,000 miles, 3,000 or 8,000 miles. Everyone has their reasons. My plan is to do the first oil change at 6,500-7,500mi. Now, people talk about the first oil being dirtier than the rest due to tiny particulates and...
  18. Pennsylvania Sold: 7" Screen Protector

For sale is a 7" Uconnect screen protector. It's the wrong size, I need the 8.4", but I can't return it because it was a gift. $9.99 Free shipping.
  19. Rokblokz Rear Issues

So after assembling my rear mud flaps, the screws they sent wont fit with plate C. It is simply impossible. I believe they sent me the wrong size. They sent 1/2" and 5/8". The overal thickness is 3/4" so these screws barely touch the flange nuts. Is there anymore hardware they should have...
  20. Remote Start- Does Nothing SOLVED

I only tried remote start at the dealer when I picked mine up. Now it's getting very cold out, so ideally this would be the time to use it. Well, it doesn't work now. My procedure: Gas tank is at least half full, everything is shut off. Parking brake is on. Doors are closed and locked. I press...
