Dear god... They didn't even bother to use the correct font for the Jurassic Park text. The "I" and the "C" are NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH. That is commonly referred to as the "Jurassk" logo.
As someone with a Jurassic Park Gladiator, I was super excited for this thread, riiiiight up until I saw...
Bought one about a month back. Install was pretty easy, but they tell you to drill out the bottom holes a little bigger than needed. Its not a huge issue, but the metal gets super tough as you step it up. It'll make sense when you get there.
Other than that I love the setup, it is very solid...
I had heated seats in my Ford Focus before the Gladiator, but I didn't get the cold weather package on this one. (Too good of a deal for everything else I wanted, and I honestly overlooked it by accident). But do kick myself for it. Upside is that the heat works really well and the Jeep's...
Seriously? That's insane. My tags are due in March and so I figured I would be over on the time limit... but jesus that's an insane wait. I wanted to get something to match my Jurassic build, but if its gonna take that long... I guess I'll just hope they shop up for NEXT year's registration.
Not currently running it, but I love the ADD Stealth bumper, and plan to get a front and rear set when someone hands me the cash to do so...
ADD Stealth
Just got back from my second trip out with this rack. I have lots of little critiques, and one big issue. Overall I still like this rack, and I think with some future revisions it really is a fantastic value. I will get pictures and write up a review when I get a chance this week.
Quadratec lists "300 lb. dynamic and 600 lb. static" but Like DeezJT said, no idea where that number came from as it is not listed on their website or on the instructions.
Yeah I can use both of mine, I have to pull them in about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch to get it to latch, but then it stays tensioned.
Went to go install an awning this weekend, things did NOT go well. I will have a full write up once I talk to Go Rhino tomorrow.
I literally JUST came across this problem. I need full time DC power for my fridge, and the "Always on" jumper connector I bought goes into F52. But F52 was already taken up by my Oracle light setup. So I moved the Oracle lights from F52 to F57, which is the driver's heated seat fuse. I don't...
Son of a B....
Mine are missing the mounting screws and drain holes as well. I wasn't 100% sure how I was going to use them but that is frustrating as hell that they aren't there.
Going to try and contact go-rhino to see what they can do about it.
I had better luck with phone calls as well. And my master tracking number only showed the 2 main boxes, my table showed up without warning and still never got a tracking number update on QT's website. Maybe they are trying to crank them out so fast to satisfy this thread... and I'm sure a number...
OP - it is the same grill/hood from this thread, but they don't have it listed on their website and their facebook page is now gone. The kits were like $5K and impossible to get a hold of.
IAC Jeep Build
Just to clarify. Only the top ends of the cable need to be drilled out for a larger screw, so don't go enlarging holes for everything until you measure and need it. I almost made the same mistake.
Ran into the same issue a month ago with my first oil change. Asked them to do it and they said they were not allowed to do it any more. Literally told me to go buy a Tazer or find a local auto shop to go do it for me. They didn't have a good explanation as to why they weren't allowed to, just...
So Friday I had the sudden arrival of the table... And things went downhill from there.
First - the brackets for mounting the table do not come with long enough screws to secure to the other side. They come with 2 inch bolts, but they NEED to be 2.5 inch. I went to the hardware store and bought...
Mmmm that's a good idea!
I may work on a canvas cover that I can clip between all 4 rack feet... Maybe at least to keep some dust and prying eyes away?
Nope, Definitely no tonneau cover on this one. If there was a way to change the feet out, then maybe...
TBH I got tired of waiting for a rack/tonneau combo that worked for this truck and didn't look terrible. Originally I was very gung-ho on the cover idea, but over time I moved towards a rack...
