I did get it to fit last night. I had to disconnect the closest christmas tree holding the line on top of the frame and unbolt the 10mm nut to loosen the vent. Once I did that, it had enough slack to fit on top of the bracket and out of the way of the inner liner.
EDIT: 3:00 on the JCR video...
Yeah, those are the ones I got. The driver's side rear is hitting on what looks like the gas tank vent line top. I might be able to move it around, just wondering if anybody had put these on yet.
Any one install these yet? trying to get mine on the driver's side rear and it won't fit. Part of the gas filler assembly is preventing the liner from moving all the way up into position to install the bolts. The install instructions are horrible.
What does the timeline look like? How far away would you travel and how would you get the tools you need to do the install? What does the cost look like?
Anybody have any tips/tricks for routing the cable from the OBDII port up to the dash? Instructions show a JK but I couldn't see anyway to route the cable behind the dash easily. Tried fishing a clothes hanger wire for a bit but I did not see any way to get it through.
I first noticed this driving my JT out to Wyoming from Washington state. While traveling at highway speed (70+), I get an occasional high pitched buzzing sound coming from the front area of the windshield. It seems to happen more frequently when it's windy but only at highway speeds and will...
How is it crazy? Multiple people posted their build sheets. Max tow didn’t include the trac-loc.
Traditionally the trac-loc is called the trash loc for a reason; it doesn’t work that well. I’m glad mine didn’t come with it and I wouldn’t have paid extra for it.
What you air down to really depends on the terrain and on your tire/wheel combo.
For most trails, I go down to 12-15psi (run 28psi on the street for my 37-12.5-17 BFG AT). In the snow, I'll go 8-10 or even less, if needed. Sand is usually similar to snow, you can get away with less pressure than...
Looks good! Sorry, didn't see your post until just now. Mine went together pretty easy, though I did end up starting to cross thread one of the lower bumper cover mounts. Chased the threads with a tap and it was fine.
Well, my driving schedule hasn't quite been the same the last two months but what I have done, so far no noticeable difference in MPG, noise or road driving. The bumper is pretty light weight, mostly just the winch cradle. The winch isn't too heavy either, but I did not notice any difference in...
