    That has to be the reason why it is making the flapping noise. I have a JCR Roof Rack with MaxTraxs and RotoPaxs. I do have the SpiderWebShade SunShade. Thanks for this info. Now I have an idea what the problem is.

    Mine has issues as well. It’s not working currently but for me, all I have to do to fix it is to play with The connections. Unplug and plug and that will do the job for a week. Done this a few times already and it’s annoying.
