My dealer was great. I was with the shop Forman on the test drive. He immediately felt the pull and said yes we will do the TSB. I haven’t seen the new one with the track bar replacement though.
Just got my truck back, no issues with the brace on there, did an alignment too. They Left the brace on as well. Truck drives straight, no more fighting the pull.
I get it, but yeah they won’t look at anything else but what the appt is for. Sucks, but that’s how a lot of these dealers do work. If it’s not on the work order, no one looks at it. Schedule an appt for the steering concerns, and print out the TSB and bring it with you.
You’ll have to complain to get the TSB done. They won’t come out and tell you there’s a TSB. Just say your steering feels sloppy and it pulls, they’ll take it for a test drive and if it does what you say, they should order the parts.
Anyone have the steering TSB done and your gladiator is lifted and with a synergy track bar brace? If so what dealer? I heard the dealer in Colma does it.
Trying to find local car audio shops that have actually worked on a JL or JT that knows how finicky our Jeeps are. I’m wanting to do the resistor trick some guys have done and add a 4ch amp. Anyone know a shop that’s done work on a JL or JT?
right now I’m debating. A local shop wants to charge me about $1K to add the PAC audio processor, and a 4CH amp. I already upgraded all my speakers and added a powered sub. People are saying the power from the stinger would be perfect for the mids and highs I have, plus that 10” screen is nice.
Look up stinger. It’s pricey though.
I just upgraded my stock speakers, and added a powered 10” sub. I now want to add a 4 channel amp to power the mids and highs but still keep the stock head unit.
