thats interesting. And pretty true of my driving of the vehicle - but I do turn it off a lot given it shuts the AC down.

I really don’t want to get my insurance company involved. Seems that only hurts me with higher rates and deductible. They need to fix this. They screwed it up. In my opinion they need to warranty the vehicle for anything electrical for as long as I own it. We shall see...
