And if I'm putting 37s? I think you're right but I struggle with which one would bring the most enjoyment lol, I guess if I do the supercharger first then my donut tires will be gone quick.
I gotta say, that's almost exactly what I want my Jeep to look like. I'll probably never have it painted blue like I want, but the rest is close. What would you do first if you were me, the supercharger or the axles/wheels/tires/lift?
Well, I’d like to win for probably the same reasons as everyone else. My Gladiator looks too much like a minivan and not enough like a Jeep, and I’d like to be able to do some real off-roading. A lift kit gets me there as I have saved enough for the tires and wheels.
Gotcha. I think that reinforces my opinion that if I go with 37s, I’ll have to take it easy off-road until I can afford to upgrade the axles.
Thans for the help and advice!
Thanks! I would plan on upgrading the gears later so that I could do a little more serious off roading. I’m very handy, can build almost anything, but I’m not a mechanic. Think I could do it myself?
helpful link, thanks
So it appears that backspacing decreases and offset increases with the larger tire if I have done this right. In reality, do I need to know these figures when ordering wheels or is this done with spacers during installation?
37" looks so much better imo. I'm wondering if I can do those on my overland with 3.73 gear ratio and not push it off road while planning to upgrade the axles later.
Any thoughts?
