Final Update: Went in this morning and had them do the alignment. Now she drives straight and the TBS is fully worth the wait and headache. Like I said in my previous post. If one dealership is being hard. Don't waste your time with them. Go find another.
Update: Finally got my JTR back this morning and drove it around town highway and back roads. And got to say WOW. Its a huge difference on how it drives and feels. I am more confident on the roads and that dead space is practically gone. Its much more responsive when turning. I have to...
Update: Got a call yesterday that my parts are in. Dropped it off this morning and eagerly waiting for it to be done. My Service Advisor is great and seems to know how to handle it. I did ask him to double check the parts to make sure they are correct He said is should be complete by tomorrow...
Update: So went to a different dealership. And what a night an day difference. My purchase dealership gave me the BS line of basically "its a jeep thing" And feed me that if they replace it, they may not get reimbursed for a non broken part. I just chalked up as being lazy or crooked. This...
I experienced the same thing and felt the shady nature of that dealership. I did catch then in a few "alterations" on my sales price which they fixed. I should have walked but bought and now convinced that I will never buy a vehicle from any Mac Haik dealership. As far as I am concerned that...
Was gonna give Helfman Jeep off Katy Freeway a try. I have used them for my Jeep Grand SRT before. If they give me a run around will try River Oaks. Just sad that we Loyal Jeep owners have to play games to get warranty work done. I have never experienced this from other brands before.
UPDATE: So I finally get the Service Advisor call me back. He says that management feels it drives fine and so they do not need to do the steering box replacement. I pressed on wanting it done since I don't agree. He mentions that they can't do it cause if they take off the part and send the...
Update: So I picked up my JTR Friday after them having it for 3 days. They had 2 techs drive it and tell me that its normal. I kept at it so they flashed the ECU. My Service Agent was off the day I picked it up, so I could not get an explanation on why they did not do the steering box...
Dariene,
Thanks for the reply. Will do. I did get my Jeep back and they just did the Updated ECU flash. I have not gotten an explanation on why they did not do the Steering Box update. My service advisor was off when I picked it up. I have emailed him and just waiting on his reply. Once I...
Do you happen to have a link to this REV B version? I have a service advisor who wants to blame it on my Mopar 2inch Lift and claim it voids my warranty that was installed by them. Thanks.
Well fellas. I just dropped of my jeep for this issue. Did not go as I expected. Well I take that back. My service advisor was your typical "know all the answers" type of guy. He was already starting to blame the Mopar Lift that I purchased thru the dealership and was assured it would not...
Mark,
I appreciate you taking time to reply. I am running 35 - 12.50 tires on 20 inch wheels. I should have been more detailed in my reply. I only really see it getting sloppy when on the highway and when the rig hits some bumpy areas. I have to focus and correct it. I figured its normal...
Factoid,
So in your opinion. Did you feel a difference?. I have a 2020 with a 2.5 mopar lift and it gets sloppy about 65 mph and up. Hoping this can help it out. Been researching it. Thanks.
