I'll add my experience. 2020 Gladiator Overland, 3.6L. 30k miles.
If I fill until the pump clicks, it overflows every time. Initially it was just occasional, but now it's every time, every gas station. Even if I slow it down to fill at a trickle, when the pump clicks, it burps gas out...
Great writeup!
A buddy and I are planning to do the north section on dual sports this spring. He lives in Columbus so we'd probably pick up the trail around Jackson/Six Flags and go north, camp for the night, and then run it back. I'm trying to figure out how far it is from Jackson to High...
Rusty's Off-Road - Track Bar Brace
Brand new, never installed.

$85 shipped (assuming you don't live somewhere crazy)
Just a follow up. I installed my Synergy brace and had the same issue discussed above. I ended up ordering these washers on Amazon. Worked perfect.
It seems like this is a very common issue. I'm still wondering if it's related to a difference in the new gearbox.
Hillman 1-1/8" ID washers -...
Just curious, for the folks that had an alignment issue... do you have the original steering gear box, or one replaced under the TSB? I wonder if that's the reason some line up and some don't?
Yes, sorry should have included those.
I also installed the Apex Badlands winch. And relocated the power cable to come in the side of the side instead of the rear.
I've got the Rusty's 2" lift on my Overland, which netted me 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the rear, and left me with 1" of rake (exactly what I wanted since I occasionally tow a trailer). I recently installed a Rugged Ridge HD full width bumper and the Apex 12k winch. It seems like it...
yikes, 28’ is a big trailer. What’s the empty weight on that? I haven’t towed anything that size with my Gladiator but my gut instinct is that I wouldn’t want too, haha. But I also haven’t tried a w/d hitch yet, so maybe that improves things more than I imagine.
I definitely recommend the...
I had mentioned previously that I was going to add a rear view camera to the back of the trailer. I can safely say that camera is worth every penny of the $100 I spent on it. While I do have the towing mirror extensions, I still can’t see behind the trailer using the side mirrors. So having...
Hey, sorry for the delayed response. I have about 5k miles on the Rusty's lift. No issues so far. Still very pleased with it. I added a front bumper and winch, which dropped the front end a little less than 1/2".
One thing to consider is that the diesel engine weighs more than the gas...
I edited my comment above. Since the bump stop is part of the upper coil spring bucket, then adding a spacer on top of the coil spring effectively moves up the bump stop as well. So while you have not added any upward travel relative to the stock coil spring, you do add upward travel...
This is correct.
If the ride height of the Jeep did not change, then yes adding the spacer would increase the preload of the spring because the spring would have to compressed more to fit into the same space.
But with or without the spacer, the length of the spring with the weight of the Jeep...
So mine leaked like this yesterday from the same place. We had a very small amount of snow the night before, which melted as the sun came out. Not sure if that's related or not.
I'm waiting on a new rear glass to come in at the dealer because my back glass is leaking. I can hear water...
Just an observation... it appears at the time of failure you were using two snatch blocks, and based on the damage to the tree, it appears there was a significant load being pulled.
Also, what would be the right front mounting boss didn't break like the others and it doesn't appear to...
Stock, my Overland had roughly 1.75” of rake, which was just a bit too much for my taste. So I think a 3/4” spacer in the front would be perfect for you. Obviously you aren’t going to have the clearance that a larger lift would give you, but would give you a bit more space in the front and...
