My wife's JL is getting the front axle and I'll have to get ahold of a JLR rear for it. I'll sell the max tow rear. It mounts differently in the Gladiator and won't fit up under the JL.
I love my truck. I wanted a Rubicon but saw all the take-offs coming up for sale and thought I could get everything I wanted cheaper. It's probably a wash but I've really enjoyed the build so far and met some good people along the way. After taxes, tags, title, shipping, or any other associated...
I didn't do this when I put front rubicon springs in my max tow. I do feel like the steering has gotten a little sloppy over the last 8k or so. I'll also be putting rubicon axles in soon. Thanks for the explanation. I didn't even think about this.
Mopar sells a locker harness. It goes to both axles and runs up under the hood. I'm not sure what the routing path is yet but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Mine hasn't arrived yet.
It would be a lot more fun if I was doing it in a heated shop than a slab under an open pavilion haha. Oh the driveway mechanic life. Will do. The LED headlights showed up today and the AEV snorkel shows up tomorrow. Gonna have a long couple of weekends.
