Another data point- had the same symptoms about a year ago on my 2020 with ~38k, dealer replaced transmission under warranty.

Had my lights ice up and went down the same path as you. Ended up installing one of these just above the bumper. Haven’t had the same sticky snow since I put it on, so can’t speak to how well it works, but seems like it should work out well...
