Thanks for input so far fellas...weight of engines is interesting...from what I found 3.6L weighs about 340 lbs, 5.7L weighs 560 and the 392 weights 582. not much weight penalty for the 392. hhhmmmm.
Looking at hemi swaps now...have a long range america aux tank installed. exodus wont touch it with the aux tank, AMW will do it and say they've done it with tank several times. Leaning towards 5.7L instead of 392. I dont care about resale value. less weight, less wear and tear on my suspension...
$1900 Price Firm, No Trades. Only used a few times, non-smokers, no pets, stored inside, includes Annex room with floor, ladder comes down inside annex room for privacy... includes drywall hoist for loading on roof! Has some light scratches on shell from riding on trails, not damaged, doesnt...
Funny you ask! The top is too Heavy at 165 lbs without the accessories I have installed on the top, RSI stowaway table, the storage bin on drivers side and load bars. The hoist it also too narrow.
Guys, this is how I built my Gladiator so far, cost breakdowns and reviews, this is not product sponsored so enjoy an unbiased opinion.

Our trip to Colorado last summer had some forest service road fun that turned into a creek, some awesome boondock overlanding and part of Holy Cross Trail..love Colorado trails
Check out our video of a Relaxing trail ride last summer outside of Sturgis. Our broken down RV left us wanting to escape so we found this cool forest service road with dope views.
Honestly, I havent bothered to figure it out bc the Gladiator MPG is already affected by the 37" tires, RSI Smartcap, decked system and step sliders with armor, and awning, so I gave up carring. I get about 280mi per tank on the highway with a full loaded bed of camping gear.
