I can't remember who makes it, but I bought an extender cable for the SBW. It has both make and female connectors and brings it down where it is easy to reach. Then you plug two cables together. I think it was $30-40. Worth it for my knuckles after the first time.
I was officially notified that my rebate issues have been resolved. The Bestop rep personally reached out to notify me that it was resolved. I would not think twice about buying additional products AND counting on the rebate, as they do put the customer first. In addition, the Sunrider is a...
I use the cone nuts also on things I won't be moving. They work well. I haven't had enough issues with the spring nuts to make it worth replacing them yet. Maybe it's because I am using the Builtright trail rails, not Unistrut.
What are the dimensions of the McMaster Carr T-Slot Nuts? We can compare them to the others
Those springnuts are not the most convenient things to use. I'm kinda surprised you like using them for the trail rails or are you using them for another purpose? They're OK for the right application...
Has anybody confirmed the fitment of the McMaster Carr T slot nuts? I am about to pull the trigger on them for a bed rack system I'm building.
I used the spring loaded nuts from Unistrut that I bought at Home Depot. They were in stock and work great. Here is the 3/8" version but they have...
I totally agree and hope they resolve my rebate issue. I absolutely love the Sunrider top and use it almost all the time unless I am doing a long road trip. Just used it on 200 mile trip to the beach and am super happy just dropping the top to cruise down the sand. I am a raving fan of the...
The rebate company told me mine was ordered after the rebate period, when my invoice clearly shows before. There was a delay in shipping due to COVID, but that had nothing to do with when my credit card was charged or when I ordered it. How do I get this fixed?
Would this also cause noise when the Sunrider top is installed? My drivers side is way noisier than passenger side. On our recent 3000 mile trip, my wife heard the driver's side noise from her seat whenever we were over 50 mph (which was like the whole time). If so, how are these adjusted...
I think he is referring to the pics I sent him of mine. I am going to shorten the bolts and reverse them, but was pretty happy with the fit otherwise. The ends of the bolts catch on the gasket of the cover, so it makes it harder than it will be when reversed and could damage it over time. I...
My Rubi on stock 33s is super stable. Guess I am one of the lucky ones. I do agree that the reinforcement route looks like a better fix than masking it with a stabilizer. If you want a stabilizer AFTER you fix the issue, then go for it.
IF you wnated to extend the brackets, talk to Scott at Compact Camping Store. He has no weld brackets for camper builds that may get be able to get you up above the cab height.
There is a pretty low priced extension that goes into the hitch plate and is adjustable for that. If you get a roof mount set of rails that mounts to the edge rail like I have here and the hitch extension that would carry SUP board, kayak etc of most any size.
