  1. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

I typed out a long reply but it didn't save or post :/ In summary, the Himalayan sounds like it may be a good fit for you. I've had mine since 2018 and it has taken a lot of abuse off-road, tough single track, big drops and jumps, dropped a half dozen times and keeps on going. It's built more...
  2. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

@watchuko I don't have a pic of the back that I can find. I did buy the trailer from harbor freight and it's holding up well, no issues. I did add some brake lights to the trailer just to be extra. Not sure the model but think they only sell one that size at HF. Bike has held up great and no...
  3. Easter egg on front driveshaft

Yep, not found on my LE either
  4. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

Good eye sir, it is indeed a Himalayan. It's the wife's bike but I find that I ride it over the others. It's a capable little machine and I've certainly put it in some unforgiving situations. Got a nice little dent in the tank this weekend pushing it a little too far.
  5. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

Just got back from our trip and have to say that the MC trailer hitch did pretty well. I was pretty loaded down and likely close to max payload with everything else but no problems. Certainly had the Carolina squat thing going on and felt a bit loose in the front but held up like a champ! Close...
  6. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

I take delivery of the hitch trailer on Monday and heading out on Thursday. I'll post pics of how it holds up on a mopar lifed rubicon. ~550 lbs total tongue weight so hoping for not too much squat and a somewhat decent ride.
  7. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

Here is the hitch trailer I ordered, good reviews and seems sturdy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002M3ODTC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Good call on the lights, didn't think through that. Looks like a trip to HF is in my near future!
  8. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

Good info and looks like the truck can take the 550 lbs of tongue weight on the back. It's only about an 1 .5 hr mostly freeway trip. Two main reasons for not putting the motorcycle in the bed for this trip: 1. Getting a 450 lb adv bike in the bed on a lifted truck by yourself is never fun 2...
  9. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

Thanks @jwilson2899! Helpful info and missed the addendum. Saved me some towing anxiety on the upcoming trip.
  10. Will this motorcycle hauler work on a Gladiator?

Any update on if anyone has used this trailer hitch on the gladiator? I'm in the same situation: JT rubicon with tow package, mopar lift, 400 lb motorcycle and the hitch is about 100 lbs. Total weight will not exceed 550 lbs. I really want to go with this set up as these types of ramps are much...
  11. Trailer Hitch Motorcycle Carrier Confusion

I just purchased a 600 lb capacity motorcycle trailer hitch carrier for a trip we are about to take. I got a bit confused after reading the owners manual if the Gladiator will be able to support the weight. The trailer is about 100 lbs, the bike is just over 400 lbs so combined weight no more...
  12. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

Link for the TS stabilizer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFGHMB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's been posted previously but if anyone is on the fence this is the one to get. If you want to spend the extra coin, the ATS is adjustable but I just didn't see myself...
  13. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

Just installed the Fox TS stabilizer after the Mopar 2" lift and have to say it's a night and day difference. Happy with the results as handling was a bit spotty after the lift and this thing firmed everything up. Haven't tried any of the others than the stock stabilizer but the TS tracks...
  14. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

Just installed the 2" Mopar this weekend. It was a pita doing it myself with my garage setup but it turned out great! Torquing the control arms to 190 lbs is a bit tough on jack stands but do-able. Took it to the shop for an alignment and is driving great. Put on a Fox TS steering stabilizer to...
  15. Texas Sold: Austin TX - Take-off suspension Rubicon Gladiator LE Fox shocks full kit

Just installed the 2" Mopar lift and have all the take-off suspension parts from the Rubicon LE Gladiator. The truck had 2k easy miles at take off so everything is nearly new. Includes: All 4 Fox shocks All 4 springs Both front lower control arms Front and rear sway bar links Front spring...
  16. Mopar lift question

I'm installing the Mopar lift this weekend. Is there a video out there somewhere showing the install? The instructions don't seem that detailed. I found a ton of videos for adding the leveling kit but not much out there for the Mopar lift on the JT. The Teraflex leveling kit was a breeze using 6...
  17. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

You guys confirmed what I was thinking. Going to keep just the 1" puck with the mopar lift as it looks to level it out perfectly. A little pitch is no big deal but always bothered me how they sit stock. Thanks for the pics!
  18. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

Installing the 2" Mopar lift this coming weekend and have questions about adding the teraflex 1.5" leveling kit with the Mopar lift. It's a LE Rubicon and just added 35" KO2's. I like the level look and only haul light loads and dirt bikes so the payload isn't significant. Anyone out there add...
