Well - almost 5 months later and I finally have my new hardtop with a NON-LEAKING window. Good luck to everyone else dealing with these issues and be sure to be THOROUGH when picking it up upon completion.
You specifically said "These are the differences between Max and No Max" not "these are the options that come on a Max Tow." So don't back track just because you got called out on providing incorrect information. What you said, and what you provided is not correct.
I have no chip on my...
If you're trying to state these are the differences between the Max Tow Package and Trailer-Tow Package, stating that those options don't come on the Trailer-Tow Package your statement couldn't be more wrong. The Trailer-Tow Package comes with half of what you have listed there.

I had mine in for replacement in December. Glass company scratched the hell out of my top so the dealership was ordering a new top. Apparently the new tops come in without the glass the top has been at the dealership for weeks now but the glass is back ordered so four months later and I'm still...
I do run on the auto setting, but have not noticed the low beams coming on during the day unless it's a quick flicker on and off without dimming the interior lights. (Would be hard to notice this unless I was outside the vehicle looking verses driving it.) I'll get a video of when this is...
Has anyone noticed a "pulsing" or a light "flicker" using these lights? I've had these on my Gladiator for 8th months or so and starting to notice this.
This picture was from our first pull and when our towing mirrors were still in the mail yet so I had just adjusted the stock mirrors to help the best they could, which wasn't much. Since our camper is 8 foot wide the mirrors mentioned above with adapters still wouldn't really allow much help...
@Labswine We were having a hard time finding this specific model and the closest one we could locate was in Ohio, so we actually bought it from All Seasons RV in Streetsboro Ohio. They were extremely easy to deal with and we got it for a heck of a deal. Definitely happy with them! We're about 2...
That's exactly the same link we set to, the 9th link goes in the slot. When we purchased our camper and pulled it home it was relatively windy that day and we had zero sway issues utilizing that set up. VERY happy with it! My only issue with the Tenkonsha Primus brake controller is where the...
Thanks for this write up! I have a very similar set up to yours and couldn't agree more that the sweet spot feels to be more in the range of 60-65 mph for highway speeds after pulling our camper and trying to keep at 70 mph.
This week we upgraded from a 2014 Flagstaff pop up camper to this 2021 Flagstaff Shamrock 21SS. We had plenty of time to get used to towing since our trip to pick up was around 4 1/2 hours on way, majority being on the interstate. Driving in town and smaller highways were a breeze. Felt like...
True, and I won't disagree with the legality of it.
I think my main thinking behind it is if I were to swap to a Rubicon set up for springs/shocks that came off a manual Rubicon would it lower my tongue weight and towing capacity of my sport that's rated higher than 450lbs/4,500lbs?
Is there a difference between the Rubicon suspension on a manual transmission vs automatic? Or is the transmission the limiting factor here in the 4,500 lbs. vs. 7,000 lbs. towing capacity.
Damn, you missed out... They were just on sale earlier this week and I bought a set of fronts for $170. Unfortunately that sale doesn't look like it's active anymore and they're back to the $425 for fronts and $425 for rears.
Honestly, only issues I've come across are a leaking back window in the hardtop (which was replaced and in doing so they scratched the hell out of the top so now I'm waiting for a new hardtop that's on order.) My second issue is with the uconnect 7 radio flickering when using Apple CarPlay (no...
