A while ago i got pulled over in Florida and was given a warning due to the lift/ hight from road to frame. Because it was just a warning i didn't bother to check into it. My tires were sticking out too but the state trooper did not say anything about that.

Not sure if it belongs here but I have been trying to decide on a decal or two for my Jeep, but want to keep sort of a black out look. Wondering how many of you have black decals on your black Jeep regardless if on glass or paint and if so; lets see them.

Installed this today, but do not like how these tabs look. Anyone encountered same problem, any ideas to make it better? These currently are helping to hold the insert pushed in place. Maybe pre cut holes foe those tabs and some how hold the insert to grill with some screws... i don't...

Do what i did i think it looks 100 times better. I used same wheels and got mud terrain 285 70 17s. Still drives grest and looks good enough... i would love to have done 35s and a 3.5 in lift but mine is leased and not sure if will end uñ keeping, just couldnt stand the look of the original...

I got this one works great. Got it off ebay bet for 25 bucks. You can even put the panels without having to remove it.

Did mine today, I just removed all the bolts holding the piece including the 7mm bolt and two plastic push pins / clips. The bottom air damp or skid whatever the name is, is flexible enough that you don't have to remove it. Just bend it out of the way and you could pull the pieces out it won't...

I took the piece off between fender bumper and ordered this grill insert

Yes i did about 5 or 6 coats of black and a couple of coats of metalizer.
