  1. Broke my first thing....

Broke mine too. First time. Thought I did something wrong, but was a real PITA to get off.
  2. Well this sucks.

I agree. So glad everyone is ok. My Rubicon JT was hit smack in the driver side rear wheel by a kid running a red light. ZERO body damage but the axle and track bar were both bent. $10K in repairs and back on the road. These trucks are TOUGH!!!
  3. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

I purchased a wheel bag from Amazon that can hold two wheels. I keep the wheels in the bag in the bed with the bikes while traveling and throw it in the back of the cab when we stop for food or drinks after a ride.
  4. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

Thanks!!! I have been trying to find some solution to crossbars with the tonneau. I saw these bars but was under the impression that I would have to remove the bars to roll up the cover.
  5. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

Do you have to remove the bars to roll the tonneau?
  6. Is it dumb to wait on MY 2023?

You are dealing with a truly ancient problem. "Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good" Voltaire: “The best is the enemy of the good.” Confucius: "Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." Shakespeare: “Striving to better, oft we mar what's well.” I love my 2020 Rubicon. I...
  7. You ever have a stranger compliment your Jeep?

Happens all the time. Best was a kid who made me roll down my window at a red light to tell me how much he loved my Jeep.
  8. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

FWIW, if you go the Rocky Mounts route, you can order them direct so they all have the same lock core and only need one key.
  9. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

Would love to, but the gladiator got t-boned by 19 yr old kid who ran a red light. This is the exact model I bought. I think most C-Channel accessories will work in the trail rail. I know for sure the rocky mounts does. QR...
  10. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

Same issues... I have to roll the cover up tight to the cab to keep it off the forks, but the metal crossbar then is very close to rear glass. If I use the thru axle adapter with the GR mount I can swing it up and out of the way. I have yet to find a "perfect" solution that works with the cover.
  11. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

Rocky Mounts make a fork mount for QR and Thru axels that direct fit in the trail rail rack. https://www.amazon.com/RockyMounts-LoBall-Track-quick-release/dp/B019709IBU?ref_=ast_sto_dp I have one on each side and adapters so I can switch between QR for road and thru axle for gravel / MTN...
  12. Gladiator vs Chrysler

Well this is not a comparison shopping thread but more of a ... "what happens when a Chrysler runs a red light and hits a gladiator"... This happens. Kid ran through a red light and hit me square in the wheel, zero body damage (that I can see) but the wheel is jacked and underivable. Part of...
