  1. Gladiator Lifts

I did the JKS lift w/ lca's & Fox 2.0's w/ stabilizer a few years ago, zero issues. My goal was a general-purpose offroader done correctly if not extravagantly. I also wanted room to go to 37's in the future. No hardcore wheeling, but plenty of low-speed putzing around in baja. Running 35"...
  2. Atturo Trail Blades or Mickey Thompsons Baja Legend

Happy w/ the MT's. quiet for what they are, wearing well (regular rotations.) Awesome off road & tolerable as DD. I'm running 35's & definitely feel the weight.
  3. JT: Reliability

'20 Sport S MT w/ 3" & 35's, 40k. Blind spot warning announced itself as 'unavailable' a couple of times, Rear camera didn't come on in reverse a couple times. roof leaks a little when parked right side higher than left. That's it so far. I read about stuff people have trouble with &...
  4. Cloth seats, how easily do they staining?

Check out BarTact, if you haven't already. my seats would be rags by now without 'em.
  5. Who's In The Middle? (lift)

This; happy w/ 3" & 35's. A bit of wheel gap keeps stuff from rubbing the stock fenders, which I wanted to keep.
  6. I'm done with Quadratec!

I had a difficult time with Quadratec when setting up my truck & decided not to attempt further business w/ them for at least a year. Sorry to hear things have not improved, I hope they step up for you. I ended up working with Northridge w/ zero issues fwiw.
  7. Need some advice.

I also have the JKS kit with lower arms & Fox 2.0's. completely satisfied with quality, performance, & stance w/ 35's.
  8. How reliable has your gladiator been?

37k on my '20 Sport S MT, zero issues. Quirks yes, problems no. Hopefully you can try again with another one & enjoy as much as most of us, good luck
  9. Should I get a winch? Please school me on them.

I went with a Warn Evo 10k, but had I known more about Badlands I would likely have gone that route. Happy with it, have used it to pull dune buggies out of tequila-induced mishaps in Baja & misc utility tasks. That's all I bought it for, but I like that it's there should I screw up on the...
  10. Fuel Door Solution

I jeep-wave with a lefty oven mitt; fill-ups are scratch/odor free. let 'em wonder.
  11. who is on original oem aluminum steering box?

    36k on my '20, lift/35's doing fine.
  12. Should I Replace This Windshield......Yet?

I had a similar hit & a week later needed replacement. looked into GG but decided against it based on cost/mixed reviews. added glass coverage to policy for $50ish annual & $100 deductible. can bust a lot of glass & still come out ahead of what GG was going to cost here in the Bay.
  13. Cell phone holder?

CMM Offroad has several options. I have the passenger grab rail ball/Ram combo, great setup.
  14. Yet Another Bumper Conundrum

agree on RR Arcus. clean oem-ish look, beefy winch plate, fairly light, easy install. Northridge got one to me in under a week.
  15. Sport S vs Rubicon

No. Your description of intended use is identical to mine. I'm glad I went with the Maxtow option, but after a year of messing around in it I'm not missing anything Rubicon. I have a JKS kit, rims, & 35's waiting to install, but don't need to go anywhere that's beyond this setup. Hop this helps!
  16. Really want a Gladiator but having trouble taking the plunge - help me do it!

I had similar concerns but pulled the trigger when my trusty Ranger finally died. Adjusting to the additional size took a few weeks, but I think that had more to do with having driven the ranger for 13 years than the size difference. I drive to job sites in SF frequently, & don't spend more...
  17. Quadratec warning

Brought new JT home & immediately hit the Quadratec site, ordered several items indicated in stock. none were. began receiving daily Quadratec spam emails, nothing to do with my order. after 2 weeks of this with no progress, I cancelled my order. No confirmation or response of any kind...
