I’m close to making a purchase. What’s the best way to angle for better money off with 2021s around the corner?
“I know 2021s are coming in a few weeks, give me another few grand off?”
I noticed that too. Thought I was going crazy. I’ve been using Autotrader but you can’t set it to Sport S only, you can only select Sport trim which brings the Sport and S both in. Usually pretty easy to tell based on MSRP though.
I had a couple of the dealer sponsors check for me and they all said Gobi and gator green weren’t available on the Altitude. Hopefully something changed since I asked a couple days ago.
What’s your best advice on how to do this for a vehicle on the lot? I’ve got an OTD quote ($39,500) on a Sport S with MSRP of $46,500 but it’s not in the color I want. I’m shopping around with that quote but no one else is getting close.
Just tried to order a new build and they let me know Gobi is gone too. Can anyone confirm?
Edit: spoke with a couple dealers and they confirmed. Bummer! Gator and Gobi were my two favorite colors.
It looks like the differences in the Altitude are 18 inch wheels, standard automatic transmission and Selec-Speed® Control.
I think this is what I’ve been waiting for. I don’t see that you can get it in max tow though.
I’ve been looking out for a max tow but the most I can get is about $5,000 off whereas I can get around $10,000 off Overlands. This is in a 100 mile radius of atlanta.
I’ve got pretty much this same truck in Georgia at $36,000 + taxes and fees. Was hoping to get a better deal but I don’t think they’re out there for Sports.
I’m looking to purchase a Gladiator. Right now I have some great quotes but I can’t find them in the color I want. I’m thinking I might should wait it out until production ramps back up, but I also think I might end up paying thousands more. What do y’all think?
I was firmly on wanting to purchase one by the end of the month, but it wouldn’t be exactly what I wanted (mainly color). I’m starting to think I should wait it maybe. Maybe I’ll look through this forum to see what sort of deals people were getting Pre COVID and then decide for sure.
