I'm like 90% sure XM Guardian is cell based, it won't work off-grid and I don't think requires the satellite antenna for anything. So Garmin is still needed if you need/want off grid comm services, especially emergency/SAR services.

If they invested in a torque wrench instead of an impact gun to put it on, it wouldn't break. The torque spec is like just over hand tight, something like 15 or 20 ft-lb.

That's horrible. I bought a Factor55 insert for the tow hitch, I have to imagine there are similar risks with that. Makes me think twice about using it with a kinetic rope.

Does about as well as I'd expect an overpriced mall crawler would do. The wheels are too big, the tires have too much air, they're giving it too much gas to helping it dig in more. I've always used 4H on sand and had much better results.

Can confirm, heat pumps are picky. I had 2 installed last year, I had to have 36" on 2 sides and 12" on the 2 other sides. The units could not be closer than 36" to each other. If you don't meet those, the manufacturer won't warranty the units. Can also confirm HOAs are horrible and don't care...
